Your assertion that Paul probably wouldn’t have written 1 Thessalonians hadn’t it been for the devil thwarting his efforts to visit this church (18:20) doesn’t seem to be right. His correspondences were prompted by many circumstances outside of not being able to visit church plants. The occasion for this letter is clearly spelled out in 1Thessalonians 3:6-10. Paul simply saying that Satan stopped him from coming doesn’t make him the prompter of this letter.

It's taken me years to realize I was in my, "self salvation" process. The more I learn about God, the more I realize He's always there, waiting patiently for us. Praise Jesus.

Through his omniscience, God places beside us the person we need, to become all he desires, and instead of thanking him for this individual, we complain 1:04:00.
