Thanks for the video & tips! Will it peel/fall off with time? I don't want to get a call from our tenants saying it's falling off or it fell off and they slipped on it. This wallpaper may not peel on it's own but I've read where the other cheaper stuff does (the peel and stick stuff). How long has it lasted for you? Thank you so much!
@diybeautifyАй бұрын
I can't guarantee how long it will last. This brand is definitely more expensive than many you'll find on Amazon, but you generally get what you pay for! We have moved but had absolutely no peeling in two years. Of course, moisture, pets and even small children picking at it could damage it.

@@diybeautify funny…true story. I watched the video. I think I have all the necessary components. Cool. I start folding my “drop cloth” fabric “rags” recommended two years ago by an avid DIY guru…. (much looser weave than drop cloth.) I cut them, go to sew them on my machine, (which was set for a loose zigzag stitch) first one ok. Second one ok. Third one bobbin runs out…sigh. I take care of that…after huffing and puffing…I get back to business. Decided to turn them outside right, test run the rice filling…but, I’m suspicious thinking, the loose zigzag stitch on my loose fabric could be problematic….only one way to find out, I put some more rice down in there, massage it to the bottom, hold the carrot from the top, gently flinging it to compact the rice more…..tap, tap, fling, fling then suddenly I have rice flying alllllllll over the room, I now have a hole where my loose zigzag on my loose fabric was a “fail” ☹️. In the meantime the cats have gotten to the raffia and the jute and I have to laugh….throw up my hands in despair thinking…Cindy made it look so easy… 🤣🤣. I will give it another go, because I rewatched the video, and Dang It, you make it look so easy. And I’m no quitter. Wish me luck…tomorrow. 🥰🤍🤍🤍
@diybeautify4 ай бұрын
@cherylmacedo5521 oh goodness Cheryl 😂 Believe me, I have stuff like that happen ALL the time!!! I probably wouldn't do a zigzag stitch if your fabric is such a loose weave, and maybe try a little dried beans rather than rice! Lentils would work. Also, I'd probably stuff a little fiberfill into the very tip of the carrot, and either add the dried lentils on top of that or leave it out completely and just stuff them tightly 😉 Hope it helps! 😀 ✨️

I am an artificial tree rescuer. 😂 I am also a dumpster diver so I find NEW returned trees that have lights out or something else wrong with part of the tree. I have fixed a few and had brand new trees with little work. You can always take the lights off and do it the old school way and add your own lights. Bottom sections can be cut up and made into garland or used as filler on other projects. If you have the top and middle section with working lights you can have a smaller tree. Top section only can be a tabletop tree. I found a top only (I think the rest of the tree may have been buried in the craft store dumpster. The lights work. I am going to make a stand like this for it and use it as a table top tree! My old table top tree is about 20 years old. I loved it so much because it was a fiber optic one. But it smells like petroleum! And the faux needles are falling off like crazy. I’m gonna keep it for a DIY project for later. But now I have a new table top lighted tree …. As soon as I make the pot part to hold it up. I am probably going to wrap it in burlap.
