Just wondering if intercooler is essential at this power? I’m planning on doing your stainless cat back exhaust and mst intake (mainly for sound) But will be getting round to getting it mapped eventually

The intercooler upgrade is a good idea, it will give you more power more of the time especially when ambient temperatures are high.

Great video. Really interesting synopsis on the mods. Does this car have an opf delete also? I have the eventuri intake, with a milltek gpf back exhaust and about to fit the milltek sports cat. With these mods and the ecutek map I should expect to run safely within the stock engine internals at 330 bhp? Thanks

Hey there, it does have the OPF delete yes. Power for your car will be around 320-330bhp and safe as it can be yes.

How does the Turbolamik integrate with the stock ecu? I have a USDM '99 SC400 (1UZ VVTI + A650E) and there's not an off the shelf kit stateside, but looking at what yall have done so far it seems that this should be more than possible. My stock 5 speed is on its last legs and if I could get the stock ECU happy, and get the Tubolamik the data it needs, the 8HP seems really hard to beat.

It doesn’t need one no, but an upgraded intercooler helps maintaining the power.

@@Whifbitz You quote figures of 263 before remap and 321 after the remap but you do not say if that is wheel horsepower or estimated flywheel horsepower. My point was that if the figures are estimated flywheel horsepower then the mods did nothing before the remap hence my assumption that the figures must be wheel horsepower

These cars make 257bhp stock from factory at the flywheel for the uk market and then made only small gains with the hardware making 263bhp and then the map made great gains utilising the benefits the hardware has to offer and then made 321bhp so not bad numbers at all

Can you give me more info how to emulate the stock ecu to communicate correctly with turbo lamik tcu? I have 2jz ge and have all bmw 8hp stuff including tcu, adapter plate, etc. But this is the 1st time I hear you can connect the stock ecu to turbo lamik. I want to make the same swap leaving my engine stock for this season. And add standalone ecu+ turbo next year.

Don’t know the ratio but 3.91 will just about be ok. Standard ecu on this car with an emulator fitted.

I have a stock TT 1994 MK4 Auto in the US. Coincidentally, it was originally a UK car and has many of the interesting items that come with EU version of the Supra. Do you offer a preprogrammed TCU? Or would I have to take it to a local tuner?
