You need to put the front derailleur close to the large chainring as much as you can. The guidebook says 1-3mm. It is perfect to keep 1mm space with the chainring.

For that light, actually it has another light for cyclists, you can see a little green light at the end of the road. The cycle traffic light always starts a few seconds earlier than the car traffic light as the bicycle can't start as fast as a car. It's quite hard to see and confuse in the video.
