B787で初採用＞ フラップが降りた際にスポイラーが隙間を塞ぐように通常位置より下がります。これにより、単純フラップなのに、B747等に採用されていたカウラーフラップに近い高揚力を得られる。

Does EVA Air usually operate the short-haul Taipei-Hong Kong route using a Boeing 787-10, or was a Boeing 787-10 used just on that day to evacuate people out of Hong Kong ahead of the typhoon 🌀? Also, do you remember what the name of that typhoon 🌀 that was threatening Hong Kong on that very day, was? Just like hurricanes 🌀 in the North Atlantic and the Eastern Pacific have names, typhoons 🌀 on the Western Pacific also are given names.

That’s an EXTRAORDINARILY SHORT FLIGHT for a Boeing 787-10! 😳 That being said, there was a typhoon 🌀 that was threatening Hong Kong that day, and I’m glad you got on your EVA Air flight ✈️ from Hong Kong Chep Lap Kok International Airport to Taipei Taoyuan International Airport on that day (even as so many other flights out of Hong Kong were cancelled ahead of the typhoon 🌀!), and were able to leave Hong Kong before the typhoon 🌀 hit Hong Kong! 😅😅😅 That being said, I hope that typhoon 🌀 that was threatening to hit Hong Kong on that day, did NOT track towards Taiwan!

Oh this brings memories back ..thank you a.t.c.and r.a.f. you set me up for a great life, did air experiance flights from brize norton and fairford ...V.C.10 THE EFFING BEST EVER ..no wonder my life was different from most after this experience between 14 to 16yrs old .... also experienced CONCORDE at Fairford during testing , never flew on the concorde though ..arff
