Jack has retired and you never go there when a cruise ship is in port.

this video is not accurate any more. shots do count against your 15 drink limit and the bottle of liquor ordered through fun shops to your room is only allowed on 7 day or more cruises. the taking care of your bartender trick is the only one that will possibly still work.

when did you do this tour, was on the ship in April 2022 & then again in August 2022.

Specialty coffees from Java Blue, milkshakes, energy drinks and soda are all unlimited and do not count toward the 15 drink limit.

Been to jacks. These are all the reasons why I'm taking a right when I get off the boat. Above all this their rum punch sucks. You can't be in the Caribbean and have crapy rum punch.

You have to expect a line when there are two large ships in Port. Don't forget you are not in the US.

We went to Jack's on our first trip to Grand Turk. We were lucky enough meet and party with Tofer. We were so underwhelmed with Jack's Shack. This was before they remodeled. The people were not friendly and we were told there was a 2 hour wait for food. No thank you. We've been back to Grand Turk several times and never returned back to Jacks.

Just came off Celebration..BEAUTIFUL AMAZING SHIP. BUT we will NOT be back. 6500 passengers, alot of kids running. Everything took forever. ELEVATORS were absolutely horrible. Can't take stairs because it's 18 floors. NCL breakaway class much better.

We are in the planning stage for our Feb 2024 cruise. We were trying to decide between a free day at Jacks or taking an excursion to Bajari Beach. I would like to save on the excursion money but I dont want to have a bad experience. We dont want to spend a bunch of our times in a crowded area with long lines for food and drink and gross bathrooms. Would it be better to goto Bajari Beach. I really cant find any quality youtube videos on Bajari Beach so it worries me.

Summer landing is on deck 8. Center stage is deck 6, 7 and 8. ;)

Do they do business 12 months, the reason for the location cheaper than on the cruise property, remake over with Gordon Ramsey, the workers always a problem, especially if no tips are involved and after the flies I’m not eating there 😊

Ice Bar Lounge was dumb... $18 just to go in! Arcade games nearly $5 to play each ... $450 for a couples massage! ... Main buffet just ok ... FREE Tea was just powder mix ... Casino NOT the same as US based casinos different payouts.. good luck

We were at Jacks 2 weeks ago and the service was terrible, and there was only one ship in that day and when we got there, there was only 6-8 people, NO mech, No t-shirts, beer cozies, nothing!!! they told us they were waiting on mech and the bar servers/staff....not very friendly, we've been there 4 times and absolutely loved it with the old bar and the great atmosphere but i can tell you that I likely won't be back there

We're sailing on 6/11. Needless to say, we're pretty excited!

Thanks for the very detailed comparison. The main thing that keeps me from running to Royal Caribbean is the whole mall look of the larger ships. I know that may seem like I'm nit picking but it is just not appealing to me. I have only sailed on one Royal ship, and that was the old girl, Enchantment of the Seas, which I really enjoyed. That being said, I am scheduled to sail Wonder of the Seas in 2025, but only because a friend is celebrating her birthday on that ship. Lol That's what I love about cruising. There is something out there for everyone. I will update my opinion in 2025!
