Our local Allis Chalmers dealer used to have a similar machine.used to move equipment. People called it a hoote nanny.

Solid robust deisgn, I personally like the lack of batteries/winches/hydraulics/etc as a simple chain fall will always prove reliable. Best regards.

Hi, probably have someone tailing out at times - but just had a few short length flitches to cut. I'd just finished building the bench, this was the second short run - think it goes all right without live rollers.

What timber are you splitting? It looks dry...is it easier to split dry or wet wood? Great video!
