You should have a dumpster too load from the start. No need to handle materials twice. Thanks from St. Paul Minnesota

Hey just wondering,. Why do a lot of tree feillers always leave the hold over splinters on stump? Wouldn't be a little safer to cut it off? Not critiquing just asking.

You're right - as far as safety goes you can get a good sliver in the wrong spot! I see a lot of guys who do finish it by clean cutting the hinge off. I stumped it closer to the ground when I was done which is why I didn't cut it.

I sure love my Cat 305. I've demolished houses, lifted 1000lb+ rock building a rock wall. I mainly forestry mulch with it, but also do other fun stuff. Even had the wife operate a little for fun. Aloha.

Which mulcher? I've heard good and bad about a mulcher on this machine. I e been thinking about a brush mower instead.

@@salomonbum I use the FMX36 from fecon. Works great but you do have to realize that your other functions will slow a bit. Never a problem for me. I take it slow and im verry productive. As for a brush mower it all depends on what you want to get into. Mulchers can leave a better after product and small chip size. Feel free to ask anything else you have on your mind. Aloha.

12" bucket or ripper will make your life alot easier!

No kidding! I just got my ripper in and can't wait to use it. I went on with the bucket before it came in because I wasn't worried about ground disturbance. 12" bucket - is it a good balance between ripper and big bucket?
