Thanks for sharing your opinion ! What do you mean by “poor sound quality”? Comparing to what kind of other mixer, for example ? I totally understand your disappointment, it must also depends on what were you expecting from this industrial non handmade mixer… Same knobs as usual for an Omnitronic in’it ? Or any bad surprise ? What about the poor built quality ? I off course don’t want to criticise you or disagree with you, but as there is no review yet, there is no other way than asking those who already have got the TRM-222… I feel so sorry for you

Hi, thank you for your feedback! For our better understanding, may we ask what "poor sound quality" means in this case? We're very sorry to hear that you were disappointed. Would you be so nice and let us know, what flaws or errors you experienced with the mixer? You can also just add a short note into the package when sending it back. As for the quality of the knobs, we are really a little confused as the TRM-222, just like its predecessors, features ALPS Blue Velvet potentiometers, which have been loved and requested by users before, and a solid aluminum plate. We're sorry to hear that you didn't like the mixer, but we understand that, if you're not satisfied with its quality, you'll send it back. It would be very nice if you could then add a little note with what needs to be improved from your point of view, as we strive to get better everytime. Thank you!

Im not referring to the pots, just the cheap plastic black push buttons!! I've never .mentions the pots !!! Over the past 3 months I have had a DJM-450, Traktor Z2, Mastersounds Radius MK1 and and Allen & Heath Xone 23. All , in my opinion, offer a lot more warmth in their sound. The TRM-222 is 'muddy' compared to other mixers I've used, all on the same sound system. The whole thing just feels cheap. Very disappointed

Can you just leave the filter on but down low so it doesn't impact the sound? or do you still need to select the source?

The popping issue is still unsolved, what a bad joke. Is there at least a big difference on quality sound and on preamps compare to the TRM-202 ? Cause that is not only a subjective matter…

@@KrisFasimba-mo1lf to me the TRM 222 sounds way better than the TRM 202. I think it sounds more smoother when I mix with the TRM 222 and I notice the low end sounds fatter and warmer on the TRM 222 as well. The price of this mixer is a bargain in my opinion because boutique rotary mixers are really expensive and this has the looks and feels of the expensive mixer at the lower price point. I also think at the price point of the TRM 222, this mixer is by far the best.

Hi folks, Thank you very much for your comments. Since our new TRM-222 is a completely analog mixer with analog knobs and analog signal path, there were some challenges in the electronics design. For example, we opted for the new buttons because they are much less susceptible to pop noise than the old toggle switches on the previous generations. Unfortunately, in some situations it can still happen that the switch makes a gentle pop noise. In most situations, however, no noise is audible when the switch is operated :)

Hi, Funky Pierrot there are two things to consider: first, due to the channel separation, you only hear the signal of channel 1 on the left, channel 2 on the right. Second, what you hear also depends on your headphones' impedance. The higher the impedance is, the lower is the volume of what you hear. We just tested it and listening over SHP-900 headphones with an impedance of 40 ohms, it was very loud at 50 % cue already. So if you consider these and you still feel like it's not working properly, it may be that your device is faulty. In this case, please contact your dealer and ask for repair or replacement. I hope that helps!

Hallo! Entschuldige die späte Antwort. Dein Kommentar ist leider untergegangen. Du müsstest dein Mikrofon mit dem mitgelieferten Kabel an den Mic-In des Netzteils anschließen. Danach verbindest du mithilfe eines XLR Kabel den Out des Netzteils mit einem Eingang deines Mischpults. Wir hoffen das hilft dir weiter. Gruß!
