In hindsight, i feel the idea of "This didn't sell well, therefore this other thing won't do well" kind of doesn't work. As someone who HAS to try and mix things up with what you need to sell, just because people don't buy Atari Games, doesn't mean they won't buy Satellaview games. And it works the other way around, just because Zelda sells dozens of millions of copies, doesn't mean Kirby will sell the same as well. I feel that logic is at least worth calling out as well.

Looking back at that topic at the end, ultimately the whole "we don't wanna do it" isn't so much the people who would end up having to do the work, because all they're doing is fill their 9-5 (as they should), is ultimately the employer, in this case Nintendo, who decides what they "want" to make. Obviously with entertainment and creative work, there's a mutual desire to want to make something, if Monolith doesn't wanna make a Xenoblade 4 because they felt the story was finished, Nintendo can't just force them specifically, but the one who decides where the hard work goes, is the one signing the paycheck. And in the case of porting games to modern systems, it's 100% Nintendo who needs to "want" this done.

I really hope you guys enjoy this. I'm very happy with how this came out and seeing it uploaded feels surreal

I wanted to say this during the stream for the Nintendo speculation. I'm convinced at this point that the Summer Direct might be another Partner Showcase with some first party presence, since we are due for an NSO roadmap update, and I'm certain they will do more ports Ala Pikmin 1 and 2. Nothing as big as Prime 1 Remaster. As for the fall Direct, I think that's when they'll show the new system. I think they're biding their time in order to replicate the Switch reveal to release roadmap. -marcosbase

I want to believe that the whole kicking the treasure chest is a indicator of seeing if the treasure chest is either a regular chest or a mimic, which if it is a mimic, you'll probably piss it off but at least you can run back enough to battle it instead of just getting Frieren'ed.
