I pulled off my cap today and noticed oil in the cap too. Cranks but doesn’t start anymore. Going to change the distributor.

My 95 accord is hesitating to accelerate at 2500 rpms and hearing pops under me until I press down the gas more and suddenly it accelerates like if the vtec kicks in, can my fuel pump be going bad?

My understanding is that the service department is where most dealerships make their money. I'd love to see a new car maker make one danged car extremely well and make money from selling many . Like we do with Honda Accords and mainly Civics, we could rice that car in a zillion ways. And, make it easy for the consumer to fix and maintain him/her self.

I cant find the green/orange cable, becuz the computer is located in front of the driver wheel.

What the other fella said here: Disconnect the sway bar link on the side you’re working on to prevent suspension binding. This will facilitate more downward travel of the control arm to ease the install and removal of the strut. If it’s still fighting you, you can loosen the control arm bolts a couple turns, but they have to be torqued to spec with the suspension loaded at the end. Don’t overextend the upper ball joints or you’ll be replacing the whole upper arms. 😎 Hope this helps some folks! Solid and helpful video, though! 🍺 ✌️

Mine cranks but wouldnt start. No codes.. The green key light on dash was flashing ... thats the security system indicator. After disconnecting the battery for 20mins it reset and car fired right up.! Only lasted a few days, went to start car...same thing. Repeat the battery process, starts again. Tried reprogramming the key..didn't help. I'm told that I probably need the transponder ring, which is around the ignition cylinder ( where the key goes in) as it is not consistently reading the key chip and therfore stops the fuel pump from sending fuel? Befor trying this, I'm going to pop the distributor and have a look. Thanks for the suggestion.

My 1999 accord will crank but not start. It also will not allow me to shift out of park. Put screw driver in release and shifted into neutral. Will not start in neutral. Break lights are working.

Good video, I same car my distributor n roter got stuck n metal over heated the metal is bonded, any advice, in taking out taking to machine shop , I thought I had wrong roter but auto zone had same one that cam from honda. Good luck on your project.

Just did this on a 95 accord! Thanks for the guide. I used a drill metal cutter to make a hole. Then used some hand held heavy duty metal cutters from Harbor freight to avoid sparks as much as possible.

What the mileage on your accord when the FP went out ?

I have the same car. Cant get it to start. Ive replaced fuel pump, spark plugs, new battery, new distributor, new fuses, new distributor, has spark, getting fuel. Not sure where to go from here? I have a video on my page of my problem
