Matt is my kindred. This partnership was a great move. They are similar shops. Also it’s crazy, I met Matt around 15 years ago. Been incredible to see his thoughtful approach, the Real Thread acquisition makes a ton of sense for both parties.

Appreciate this guys! Sad hearing this story because we're seeing what happens when the government gets involved with small businesses. Especially re: minimum wage.

Times are getting tuff in the screen printing and embroidery... Plus the time it takes to screen print compared to transfers is a huge difference.. 27yrs the shop i work at has been in the game. And getting customer is getting hard.we dont have a online customer group..got behind on bills and rent..so not sure how the future is gonna look like.. thinking of closing shop, moving equipment to the house.hope fully we can find a cheap office space to rent tho .cant be having people come to house. How come printavo never answers any questions..never responds to comments .we use printavo also..over300 a month.

I think the more people offload they're production, the less those people will be needed. I've seen this happen in other industries, the guy that produces or manufactures is the guy with the power, the guy that brokered the deal eventually will get dealt out by the guy that produces when the technology allows the producer and the end user to connect. Then the broker gets dealt out. It will take a while, but that is the only logical answer to shops pretending to produce and outsourcing their production. Why would the actual producer want to give up percentage to the broker when the broker is essentially pretending to be the producer. And the end consumer doesn't care either way, they just want their stuff. Eventually it can become a price battle, and the producer will always win that fight.

Downsize. Bitcoin on the balance sheet and slowly close up shop over 5-8 year period. Bitcoin will carry the company and employees beyond the needed annual revenue required to keep the shop operating. Dylan and Andy should do this. Steven is committed with different ownership structure but Bitcoin on corporate balance as treasury reserve asset would stave off inflation that eats away at the lower margins as revenues climb above $10m

Can't wait to spend time with Christine! I am excited for this and what's to come. :) I can completely relate on being invisible when I go to trade shows. It has helped make me decisions on who I do business with in the industry. I have also been discriminated in contests that I paid for by getting ignored and it's soul crushing when it involves the well-known people in the industry you looked up to.

We’re in a similar situation. Almost 20 years in business, first year (besides 2020) that we will see a decrease in revenue. Expanded space and investment in new equipment right before we saw the numbers decline. Working on ways to pivot so we don’t have to scale back. Still profitable, but if we see another drop in 2025 it is going to mean we have some hard decisions to make.

I doubt so. I have many friends who all considered StickerMule the gold standard sticker company and at the very least feel uncomfortable now ordering from them again. A large chunk of tech companies who are in California used them, and you can imagine most of them don't want anything to do with the politics they reflected on their e-mail. If they wanted to consolidate to a certain demographic of clients then sure, but they absolutely did alienate a ton of existing customers when they did this.

It's only genius if you can't define the word. Begging for sympathy for being disliked because you allign yourself with a miserable, loathesome, hateful individual who spends most of his time telling you that other Americans are your enemy, shows a severe lack of self awareness. It's not so much that Trump supporters are hated, it just hard not to feel sorry for them for not knowing better. They're like the little kid in school who idolizes the bully for reasons no one else can understand other than maybe they're just not good people, and they don't deserve sympathy. Especially when they put their employees jobs and livelihood at risk for brain-dead stupid political BS that no one asked for, nor cares about.
