Honestly, I think both Mayflower and the car were in the wrong. However, being a professional driver means you're held to a higher standard.

@@norahc. that’s what it’s all about. In most states it’s against regulations for a big truck to be in the far left lane.

@Dez Bigguns not entirely true, but close enough. He was actively passing vehicles approaching a 3 lane to two 2 lane split, so he wasn't restricted from the left lane there. A lot of states have those left lane laws, but generally they don't apply if actively passing...unless it is posted (which it isn't here)

You do know, dash cam videos can be edited for time easily on your smartphone ?

Yes, but I'm not interested in loading another app on my phone for a limited purpose. Plus, my dashcam doesn't offer software to edit on my computer for my operating system. Thirdly, if the videos were ever needed for evidence, I'd prefer not to have to deal with the questions about what else was edited.
