Nicely done version...BUT: a good illustration as to why it's so much better to master the pedalboard which essentially gives you an extra hand.

I play all pedal bass when playing gospel and ballads, but it’s too cumbersome for jazz, funk, etc. Those styles need a little more finesse in the feel!

@@ChrisHazeltonB3 I've found that using a heel/toe technique with the left foot you can put down a pretty good bass line. I find playing left-hand bass too confining, particularly when you want to change registrations. This is NOT a criticism of your playing--sounds great!

Dear Chris, I really enjoy your clip (so I went to bandcamp and brought your album). I'm a guitarist (not a pro) who recentely lost a friend who was a great organ player. 3 Weeks ago I had the idea to start playing the organ myself. Now I'm mostly doing finger excersice (on the piano to gain strenght and get dexterity in my hands, especially the right one ) and now transcribe a lot of basslines and bass parts with correct fingerings....and as soon as I get better independence on left to right hand, this will be big fun btw. I'm 45 but it's never too late :-) ...... much thanks for the clip and your music, greetings from far away switzerland
