it's fun to drug yourself , i know , but you don't need a god for that , your brain does it on it's own by producing the chemicals that Make you ''feel good'' when listening to music , just listening to music , already produces chemicals to calm you down , ''being thankful'' ads another DOSE on top of that , so yeah , that'll give it a little kick ... but that's ALL YOU'RE DOING , you know that , right ? why does my ATHEISTIC brain , that has never had a need for a god , never even thought about the concept , even when i was little but here's the kicker , as an atheist , i have the same ERROR in My brain , then you have in Yours , so ... >>> i talk to the universe AS WELL , only i know WHY i do that , because of the error in our brains , when i slam my finger in a door , i call it a bad name , same as you would , like a child when things go the wrong way in my life , i can CURSE the universe , like it can hear me and Would answer me , if it could ... , childish notion when things go My way in life , i can be thankful To the universe , like it helped me in some way , like a child that needs approval from it's daddy tell me , why do i do this , when i have never had the tiniest need to believe that there's an all-powerful daddy in the sky ? what i DO know , is that there is a quantum field , that CAN create universes like ours , and has actual evidence that it exists IN reality , which makes it a candidate at least , a ''god'' on the other hand , has No evidence , so it can not BE a candidate ... for Anything At All , and since we KNOW that every god is and always was a delusion we make up , because atheists do it to , we know this now , yes , you can't put a delusion forth as an explanation for the beginning of the universe , now , can you ... ?

@@verkehrsteilnehmer-berlin yes, I agree, I’ll remove that in the future mix. It’s hard to turn down the vocal harmony levels when the rhythm is not playing, as I have to keep my left hand on the notes. Otherwise the moment I lift my left hand off the keys to lower the mixer faders, to bring down the harmonies, the chord is gone.

When my church wasn't allowed to do the usual services, they streamed it. I has to use headphones to mix it and after this I was listening, how I set the balance between vocals and instruments and after 2 sessions I found a setting, where the instruments aren't far away. Set the accomp level about 6 to 9 dB higher and it fits perfectly and apply a little more reverb to the vocals, that it doesn't sound dry in mono. The steel string guitar may sound more warm, when layering a XG nylon string, Yamaha has optimized the keyboard for vocal accompaniment.

I always omit the main vocal from the harmonies, in order to be able to record three separate vocal tracks on my Zoom R-24 for post-production: lead, tenor, and alto. If I press the talk button I lose the harmony outputs, and can’t later remix them in if I wish. That’s why I have to keep adjusting the harmony levels on my mixer, using my left hand, rather than by pressing the talk button.

My lead vocal goes in dry to the mixer, so I have to adjust the reverb level on my voice from the mixer out to the stream. And it’s not easy to do that on the Zoom R-24. So sometimes I just let my voice be more dry, rather than have too much reverb when I talk, otherwise I sound like a karaoke reverb echo when I speak, which is not good in connecting with the audience with a warm voice sound.

@@verkehrsteilnehmer-berlin Also, do you know if there’s a way to add onboard reverb and DSP effects to my right hand (eg acoustic guitar) if I’m outputting the RH to o/p 3 & 4? The Tyros 5 schematic shows few DSP’s are available when outputting to 3&4, which I do in order to record the RH on a separate track from the rhythm, which I output through the main L&R. The mains get all the DSP’s, but doing it this way, the RH doesn’t get much onboard effects, that’s why my RH guitar sounds so dry. Any suggestions? The DSP’s for every instrument are programmed beautifully, but all that is gone when I output the RH to 3&4 instead of combining it with the rhythm which is output thru the mains 1&2. We should chat about some of these things.

@@SteveKuban Usually some voices are thin with much treble, so layering a steel string guitar with a XG nylon string gives more body. About the reverb, I guess you are using a mixing console and some of them has some built in reverb. The insert DSP should work fine. You have to edit the balance between dry and wet in the effect itself.

@@SteveKuban The insert DSP may work. Earlier Tyros Keyboards made frequently use of the insert DSPs to get reverb and you can do it too and also store this voice as user voice, to get all the changes easily.
