I just changed my R18IDBL-0 under warranty and they gave me the new model which has less Torque 270 down to 240 Nm and it does not have the 4 mode settings which was very handy (new model RID18C),Also the motor housing is now plastic and not metal, and the collar to pull back for the bits to release is very close to the end making it hard to grip....... going backwards ryobi........

The other nozzles are fine but when i put the Vario lance on fsr is a bit under pressure and the hose gets over pressured so it keeping eating/ destroying my water inlet filters. Used it 3 or 4 times and its done it twice. If someone can help me why this is happening i would appreciate it.

I'm convinced. I was looking for a mitre saw for small projects and this one foots the bill. I have makita cordless tools but don't want to fork out too much money. I also have adapter that will enable me to use makita battery. Win win. Thanks Joe.

Can you help explain how the auto line feed works? I find it keeps advancing line when I don't want to and I finish a spool in less than 30 min of cutting and creating a lot of bits of string everywhere not good for the environment.

Nobody says in reviews that even there are 2 battery slots, you can use only one for powering the device, the second slot is only to have a second battery handy when the first one gets empty. Other models have 2 slots both with electrical terminals, so you can use 2 batteries in the same time, increasing the power. I don't say this model is not good, I say it's misleading how it is presented.

Hi! How do I stop it from automatically making the thread longer? Sometimes i cut, pause, cut, pause, cut, pause.. Suddenly the spool is empty because it has been feeding it out everytime I start trimming. Thsnns! Cheers from Norway 🇳🇴

Is this mining power from another dimension??? Or what??? Because math isn't mathing... 😂😂😂 225wmax on 18v gives me on 230v 18wmax... 😂😂😂 And you can't create power from nothing... So where it gets 150w??? 😢

Tool fucked up from start to finish. Powerful brushless motor but functionality screwed up by small details. A regular Parkside, which is 3-4x cheaper, is more convenient. First: Jaw spacing. They could calmly open wider. In the advertising material is "can handle even branches up to 28 mm thick". Bullshit. Because of the crappy spacing, you can't get a 25mm branch into it. The 25 takes the very end of the jaws that is, where the chance of cutting is least. The morons would make a wider spacing then this pruner would drive 30mm branches like butter. And from soft wood it's even thicker. Second: 3s. to unlock? RLY? With the Parkside I do a quick 2-click and I can keep cutting. With this crap you have to take a 3s pause every time you wont to start cuttiing. I think that 1s time was enough completely or a 2x click like in parkside. My impression is that Ryobi is making more and more shit. There are occasional flashes like the 18V brushless trimmer. But overall it's prices are getting higher and higher and quality and usable features don't follow.
