Boerne Public Library in Boerne ,Texas has an early Low German Lutheran Bible from the 1600s on display. It was found in a school basement. It's something to see.

Re: Therapy...studies have been done that show the old fashioned advice of getting back on the horse is more effective than on going therapy. Indulgent therapy has people ruminating too long on their problems and worsening the problem.

I grew up with a very abusive parent. This parent was dying of cancer and I gave them a chance to apologize hoping they would given death was so close. This person chose not to. I wrestle with what my forgiveness in the absence of it being sought looks like. This discussion helped.

In reaching people and christians, lutherans shoul stop showing everywhere crosses with image of diffrent apperances of various people that ought to be our Lord Jesus Christ (false represenations of His nature, contraditionary to one another) - it's something what christians see and they can't stand this and don't use lutheran material. Using works of art that violate II comandment with human artistis (thus errneues by necesity) represenation of Christ that is not corret one does not give God any glory, not it is to mean to give Him any glory - the only reason why lutherans are puting those stuff EVERYWHERE is to tell other christians that you are better than others, that you are supreme and every priatice that you have MUST be correct; that's why there was and is constant downgrade in Lutheranism. I can't stand myselfe as christian, repeating and gloryfying medieval error that is so strong problem for people like Romanists and eastern Heretics, constatly commited in Lutheran churches.

If God has to kill His son in order to forgive He's evil. Would you kill your son so you could forgive someone who offended you? If you would your evil and if not it's because you can forgive without killing someone and your morals are higher than your God. They're are a lot of God's that we have made but this one is bad.

I often hear or read the singular "semantics" as a rebuttal in a discussion where someone challenges or seeks to clarify a word. Sometimes this is a legitimate rebuttal. In a non academic conversation in a casual environment, there are usually enough context clues to catch the meaning of even the strongest misnomers or misused phrases. It is also the case that some people use semantics as a reason to derail a conversation when it gets uncomfortable. But beyond those cases, semantics are very important. As a child I had often wondered why there was a singular Catholic church, and multiple protestant denominations. As a young adult I accepted the most basic answer that "the Bible is hard and everyone has a different take on it. And though that is still "true enough" i never really understood how importantly true it was. Who cares and what does it matter if someone is Catholic or Methodist? Well these lessons really do a job of using semantics so properly to establish why differences that would sound so small in a passing conversation among Christian people are very much large. The ironing out of semantics here was enjoyable, especially if one is an over thinker. As "semantics" is often used with a snide tone of proud dissaproval, I'd like to commend this excellent use of it and state "semantics" in a relieved tone of approval. A well done set of lessons.

Christianity is declining by the month as hundreds of churches shut. Four people are going out the back door for every 5yo you drag in the front. Only 1 in 9 Christians have bothered to read their "inspired word of god" clean through. Only 21 percent of you show up any given Sunday. And 70% of you believe there are other ways to heaven than your "Jesus" (not called that until the mid-17th century). Christianity shut down learning in the western world for 1,000 years following the handing over of Rome's keys by Theodosius. Knowledge and information has been your greatest enemy and you managed to oppress that for an entire MILLENIA by persecuting scientists and intellectuals, keeping people poor and illiterate, even to the point of burning your OWN bible. But now in the information age, it's DOOMED. And not one moment too soon.
