bruh how long do i cook it for
@getreeling4513Ай бұрын
Cook for 25 min but that’s based on how big the filets are. So cook it until the fish reads 145 degrees with a meat thermometer

Went out jetty fishing on long island yesterday and caught some nice blues using the sinking version of this. Not too much different except you have to crank and twitch a bit more to get same action. Question for you...what hooks can you replace the treble hooks with and if u could put an amazon link that would be awesome. The sp catches fish but the treble hooks kill me.
@getreeling45132 ай бұрын
Are you looking for a single hook variation? . I upgrade my split rings and hooks .
@peterL6712 ай бұрын
@@getreeling4513 yeah a single hook variation. The trebles are hard to take out of a blues mouth even with pliers.
@getreeling45132 ай бұрын
I’m not sure . I use treble hooks

Perfect example of horsing it in and dude is right about the constructive criticism, gotta learn how to let a fish fight or you’ll have more damage to your gear sooner then you think..

All these people pissed… as long as you’re safely releasing the fish it doesn’t really matter at all, acting as if we aren’t all fishing the same damn tides anyway. Take out what you bring in and release the fish alive. We’re all doing this for the same reason😭

Never saw you adjust your drag? What is your fishing style called? I kept waiting for the hook to bend and lose your fish.
@getreeling45132 ай бұрын
I typically keep my drag set at 15 lb pull force. Don’t really need to adjust it when at that setting . What would you recommend?
@Memo-nd6fj2 ай бұрын
@@getreeling4513 If fighting a fish like the two you had on, that powerful, I would just have loosened the drag so their wasn't so much tension on the line, I did really think your hook was going to bend bc of the pressure on the pole and line. Just mho🙂
@getreeling45132 ай бұрын
@Memo-nd6fj yea after watching the video I can see how where you are coming from. I’ll have to give that a try next time. I haven’t had luck with adjusting drag while a fish is on usually when I start messing with it I end up loosing the fish.

You just jealous because you can’t catch anything bro and pretty much he didn’t say anything about the spot you just making things up I believe you’re someone who knows this man and making fake accounts because of jealousy and making negative comments about him.

The video just made me put a metal lip in my bag word up
@nozrep2 ай бұрын
oh that is cool i never heard it called a metal lip before? I am down in TX so, I know terms and names vary from one region to another. Although it is also possible that they use that term down here and I just ain’t fished enough to know. Since I am your typical occasional fisherman who would like to go more but budget concerns are real and, a man’s gotta work! haha. Anyways, cool. Going up northeast to try and catch a saltwater striper is definitely one of my “bucket list” dreams!
@getreeling45132 ай бұрын
Out of curiosity what do people from TX call it?
@Peter-zg3em2 ай бұрын
just a little constructive criticism, hopefully it's not taken the wrong way. you're taxing your anti reverse on that stall. i was really worried when you placed your thumb on the handle to get leverage. that is not how you fight a fish on spinning tackle. gain on the fish with the bend of the rod and then take in line on the way down.
@getreeling45132 ай бұрын
Yea normally I would be able to do that but the real was locking up on me do to a bad bushing . I have the staal being repaired . I went two seasons without servicing it. Normally I would pull leverage and then reel down but my timing was off due to the bad bushing. I appreciate the advice. Thank you . Tight lines
