Our Sarto Experience in November 2022 was gorgeous and picking our bikes this spring in the facilities will remain an unforgettable and emotional moment for the rest of our life... I have 2 unique pieces and my wife 1 ... We can't imagine riding something else than a Sarto bike .... This is the first time my wife feels so confident and united with a bike... And about me : if only I had my Dinamica and my Lampo when I was racing ... Speed weapons ...

I had the opportunity to visit Sarto in summer 2022 and it was just amazing, an impressive and unforgettable experience! My Sarto Seta Plus was created from scratch, starting with a bikefitting, chosing the components and graphics. The bike itself is a real masterpiece, fatto a mano in Italia. The driving experience is sublime and the fact it is made 100% to measure means you feel united with the frame in any situation.

There's nothing quite like the custom process - congrats, it sounds like you had an amazing experience! It's Pete here who went and filmed this - I loved my trip. I'm writing a journal post which will have lots of pictures, and will hit their AC site soon. Enrico and his team felt like a family. A very special place.

Never seen Teflon tape used for bb install. Is this for better bb seal or to prevent the threads from backing out?

Hey Dex, thanks for your message and apologies for the sluggish reply! There are multiple benefits when using Teflon tape on bottom bracket threads. It adds a water tight barrier between the threads, adds friction to prevent cups from loosening up that can causing noising/creaking. It's also harder to disperse than grease/anti seize when washing /degreasing your bike which will help aid in removal of the cups when it’s time for service. Hope that helps! Pete
