The playing is actually pretty killer. Wild arrangements and charts happen when you don't have much access to modern western stuff. The ABBA shit is funny. Cool sounding recordings to.

I like, "Jumping Jack" music. Some people aren't going to like most of what I post but 1 or two people will love it. I'm one of those people and maybe one other person. I like sound from around the globe. Sometimes it's abrasive and unpleasant but that is why the Sasquatch creature avoids humans at all cost. Bad vibes. Just kidding! Sorta

Thanks for posting this…such a great beat! Actually, these songs were all pop hits of 1970-72. There were many instrumental bands from Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia with this funky surf beat. And it looks like Side 2 is positioned before Side 1. Love it!!

I love all of my records from my dad and mom. Something about holding them in your hand. Sometimes I find fingerprints my parents left on the albums and part of me loves that and then part of me scolds them for not handling them by the edges! 😁

🎉❤These songs are beautiful and well-known Chinese songs. Most of the singers were very famous. One of the above singers, Lin Dai, was not only a singer but she was also a popular movie star. The final singer, Wu Ying Ying, was one of the Seven Chinese Great Singing Stars. Chinese music has been under the Western influences for at least 8 decades.

So I have a bunch of these reels that featuring some guy named Stan who is some type of lawyer or consultant or something. Maybe his name is Stanley Geary. I think I got these from a family member who I worked at a video store with in Arlington MA. His name was Bryan Geary. I THINK this is where the tapes came from.

No you are right. TV sound for some reason had this high pitch whine involved with the signal. As we get older, we can't hear it as much but I can still kinda hear it. Something about it is a little nostalgic for me.
