Great video Dave yeah the davits on mine snapped off like you said only one thankfully. Dave when the railings finally come will they be pre moulded to fit to the decks and we thay glue on to the decks themselves or will they fit on the outside just thought you may no the answer to this as your in the know with these kind of things I also think they will set the ship and make it look fantastic. I received my issue today and its another bloody crain lol but really disappointed because it didn't have a hook or a washer so now I've got to reorder it again. Anyway mate you take great care of yourself and catch you next time. 👌
@davemacbuilds52325 күн бұрын
thanks Rod im glad you managed to fix the davit, im not sure how the railings are going to fit, your guess is as good as mine, all we can do is wait till they come in future issues, i know the cranes are fun....not lol but i dont mind them, it makes the ship stand out more with them on, you take care too my friend
@peterlloyd63376 күн бұрын
Ive had the same issue with the rear deck not fitting flush and pegs not fully aligning. Tried three times taking apart and putting back together - checking all wires are in correct place. The only way to get a flush-fit both sides at the rear is to glue with small clamps to hold the deck sides flush whilst glue sets. I am not doing (glueing) - until sure we are not in some future issue being told to take apart and do something else to resolve the issue or whatever! (This is to me a fault with the model design! without question!)
@davemacbuilds52325 күн бұрын
@peterlloyd6337 I think a lot of people have had the same problem, I've not glued it yet but I will be before the model ends it looks as if the pins on the boat deck could be a slight bigger

Hey Dave. I was just thinking. You tell me what you think ok? How about you do another battleship? Say like the Iowa or the Bismark from agora models. I know you don't have room for any of them. Hey Dave. Hope your doing better. I went to a plastic model show this past weekend here in North Carolina. And when it came to judging the models if you weren't a member you did not get judged and you did not get an award. There were guys getting two and some getting three awards. Granted they were like those medals that you see in the Olympics. It was terrible. The only thing that was good was that they had vendors there that were selling models. I will probably not be going to go to any more of those shows. Unless I want to look for more models. Sorry I am telling you this but I thought your the best guy that would listen. I really like how you are doing Peter's Titanic. Looks great. How many stages are their? What 150 right? LOL just kidding. How many stages really? Take care Dave.

hi James im getting there slowly my sisters funeral is next wednesday, the day we,re all dreading. At least you had a good time in North Carolina wish i was there, i think that,s a bit unfair if you,re not a member and you have models there to be seen and not get judged, i dont blame you not going again to them events i would,nt go either. Peters Titanic is really coming along well, altogether there are 140 issues, on my Titanic build ive done issue 123 but its not been put up on youtube yet, i,ll do that later, yesterday i should have done the carrier USS Enterprise CV6 but i went to see my sister in the chapel of rest and after that i went for a couple of beers so i never got any time to do anything
