The two characters in this MV are two parts of the same person. You see them split during the flashback in the middle and then recombine in the final frame of the fight. Open to interpretation, but I took MV to be showing a teenage girl being bullied and outcast, leading her to depression. But at the same time there was a part of her that still had some "fight" left in her that wanted to rebel against the way she was being treated. In the end, that part won and rejoined with the rest of her, bringing color back into her life.

Ajin anime unfortunately never finished (manga did) but had good music too if you haven't heard. Great video from you both! I think there is a lot to take in when you don't know the show and you are watching opening 3, 4 or 20+ though, as it usually ramps up a lot of things that make no sense if you haven't watched it. Like early naruto openings are pretty tame and not too overwhelming compared to the later ones, especially in shippuden.

If I'm not mistaken this song is based off another Japanese pun in the fact that "is it love?" (rabu-ka) and frilled sharks (rabuka) sound practically indistinguishable. Furthermore, most people interpret the lyrics to be a question whether the love they feel or receive is toxic. Though personally its been a while since I've read the translated lyrics.
