What does swing assist do actually? Never turned off that option

it makes it so that you dont levitate above the ground, just gives you a little bit of a challenge barrier when timing your swings!

Honestly, it's like the Spiderman franchise was a gift from God to become games. Taking both the most tedious part of games - travelling - and something alot of people spam constantly which is quite unimmersive (fast travel), and throwing them away - in favour of turning travelling into what's essentially a fucking awesome minigame. If that... Makes sense? Idk, it's 5 am.

why would he be praised? Also he was suffering from mental illness for years before he lost 100k dollars and him losing that much money made his depression worst and although what he did was not the right thing, it was for mcskillet to control himself im sure he didnt want those innocent mother and daughter to die but his mental illness won over him
