Mike Ross is back, and I mean REALLY BACK. He has a channel called Versus Vortex with Xian from Singapore and they managed to bring back the golden age. Great chemistry, fun, awesome content and they host and cast multiple high profile tournaments. Mike looks really happy, which comes through. Gootecks kinda fell down the redpill hole.

I remember my dad almost going max level while i was around 50. Then the game got updated to have more than 4 types of heroes and he went max faster than he did getting to where he was before the update. He was an ice/lighting wizard. I went fire

Yeah we need more badass old ladys in FG's (no eternal youth, no agereversing. Probber aged ,wrinkled but still got it! ) not counting fighters based on anime ( wich have plenty of them like Genkai from yuyu hakusho & Chio from Naruto etc) pretty much only the power instingt games include old ladys in their roster . Seems that companys push that back in favor of waifu pandering. But we got plenty of those, give us some badass grannys !

To be honest, it has always bothered me in Japanese fighting games that they don't have older women that are 26 or older if they're humans or MILFs. Mortal Kombat has Sindel who looks middle aged given her appearance and hair but is probably millions of years old since she's a Edenian and not a human since her first appearance in Mortal Kombat 3 and Sonya Blade is a MILF at her 50s in Mortal Kombat X/11. Tekken has Nina Williams, Anna Williams who was frozen and Jun Kazama who returned in Tekken 8 that are in their 40s but Michelle Chang and Kunimitsu didn't return since they were replaced by their daughters. Soul Calibur/Edge didn't have any of their female cast return in Soul Calibur V because of their age except Ivy since she had eternal youth. I know that King of Fighters has Vanessa who is in her 30s and a mother since most of the female characters are teens to early 20s and i figure Dolores is older since she is a mother. But i believe it is because of the Christmas Cake concept in Japan which is why they don't want older women especially since there are a lot of fictional characters that can be badasses when they are older like Genkai from Yu Yu Hakusho who is in her 70s

sexualization in FGC is not a problem for us: men. sexualization is not the problem per se. the problem rests on how only women are sexualized in these games. maybe it’s time add some bouncing-bulges for male characters as well, then, if a game wants to be sexy, let it be. 😂 we all could do better when it comes to sexual equality in every aspect of our lives, FG included. this is just my opinion tho.

OK, let’s get one thing real first off and foremost…… a woman has her shirt on a guy is shirtless almost the entirety of the game at least half of these games that’s not considered sexual. He's back at it with Xian now, it's so good. They have a hilarious chemistry, Xian can match Mikes energy to, they recently did stuff with Justin Wong, it's as good as it's ever been.

I feel like it went downwards when they got kind of screwed over by thestreamtv. Gootecks was ahead of his time and tried to work out a deal with them that they could not understand. It was not their own venue so they had to make a deal with them. Man he used to host stuff there and bring free drinks for everyone. I feel bad for him. He knew what streaming and content creation would become and how to capitalize but no one else had the vision they only looked at the flat current numbers.

I'm pretty new to the genre, and Skullgirls being the first game I took seriously and learned how to do combos, I despised that a ton of the games I was interested in had autocombos... Melty Blood, Blazblue Tag, Dragon Ball FighterZ... I didn't know this was a thing and bothered me a ton! Melty Blood is the one I played the most, and just because I loved the visual novel it's based on. My favorite thing about Skullgirls is knowing what each button does and thinking how to combine it, I don't like mashing A and doing different things.... it was such a relief when I bought Blazblue Central Fiction, pressed A multiple times and to see that it was just the same light attack. At least it has the option to turn on and off the auto combo, now coming back to BBTag feels bad....
