I had the cod on my 2007 honda fit P2647 I checked the oil switch and it was good 👍 so I took the switch out and cleaned with alcohol put back and the car runs perfect no cods!!!! I got lucky 😌 ☺ nice video, thank you 😊
@702bully2 жыл бұрын
Yes I found out later that it happened two more times from washing my car.. you can also throw a code when it gets wet or oil in it so you are right... I was supposed to make a second video to explain that just in case people get the code I should make one anyway.

Peggy Draper Admin... I saw a comment but I don't know how to respond to it unless you deleted it but yes it is going to be sluggish after 2500 to 3000 RPM so that's why a replaced it...what you describe sounds exactly what's going on...sorry for late response but I didn't see comments or get notifications I think I fix that problem now
@josephallen35046 жыл бұрын
I think I erased it, I'm hoping to fix this problem soon, my oil level is at top of dip stick and the oil change itself is only 2,300 miles old, this hesitation happens at the mark of 2500 or a little earlier. I don't want to blow my head gasket, so soon I well replace it. thanks for posting Video.

Joseph Allen is your check engine light on and if so did you go to your local auto parts store like AutoZone to have it diagnosed to make sure it's the right problem?
@josephallen35046 жыл бұрын
It is not on, no check engine light, but I feel this hesitation when I'm around 2000 to 3000 rpm, One other note my 08 has just turned 160K, I have replaced, coils (2 OEM, 2 HItachi) adjust valves - 2x once by a pro- the other by me , new sparks, new Sep. belt. the hesitation is a problem on the highway mostly, not really on city driving. Another problem it has when I start it, after it sits overnight only, it well studder when letting out the clutch. I thought I wasn't giving it enough gas, I went on fit freak website, alot of people suggested on give it a valve adjustment, only problem with that is , I had a pro do it, and that's exactly when that studdering started, I took it back to them, they said the usual " we couldn't produce the problem*. I'm going to replace this part, cause this seems to be the problem. but I haven't yet. I well hopefully get the part today. 702bully, thanks for your responses, if this doesn't fix it, I might have to except that the car has alot of miles on it and that hesitation comes with the territory. I've owned it since it was New, seems a shame though the engine purrs like a kitten.

Joseph Allen you're welcome,sometimes I don't get notifications and messages but every now and then I'll check the video.... wow you've done a lot and sounds like you're headed in the right direction I hope you have luck in resolving the problem
@josephallen35045 жыл бұрын
I'll get back to you when I get it in, I've notice alot of fit owner having this problem, and mechanic's get stumped, which is hard to believe, but that is what I've read in the forums, sad really, if your on a tight budget. thanks, I appreciate your efforts very much, Peace JD. Hope we help other Fit owners too, cause it is a great car.
