As a mostly shore fisherman, I've really struggled with neds from shore. Lots of snags

You just want views, you don't give a fck and is clearly a bad example and have been hoarding lures yourself 😂

Save money with mono. Use the 30 lb braid as a backer. The only reason to use braid is for frogs and flipping maybe. All the pros just play the video game/spotlighting bass. Old school. Learn to fish

The one a fisherman is most comfortable fishing with is the best that fisherman could use. For some spinning reels and for other’s baitcasters

Catching less fish because I force a new lure is the most frustrating thing about fishing and it's self inflicted. 😂

It's so refreshing to hear your comment on fishing up here, so many of the videos take place down south. I live and fish in New Hampshire and you're pointing out gear that works in New England helps me to purchase items that will get me more fish in the kayak. Thanks and keep the videos coming!!!! 🐟

Just started fishing flukes this year and God but I wish i had been fishing them years ago as they are utterly deadly bass catching lurers in my lakes and I do mean deadly. I also had hook set issues using EWG hooks and just figured par for the course. Then I while researching different ways to fish a weldless flukes about a month ago, came across a article of a guy saying exactly what you are and recommending I try an Owner or Gamakatsu screw lock hook and my successful hook set percentage went from 65-75% to over 95%. What also helped a noticeable amount was going from a 3/0 screw lock hook to a 4/0 screw lock hook.

Palomar knot is not a good knot for fluorocarbon. It cuts into itself unless you retie often

Baby Z Too can be killer when fish are feeding on tiny baitfish. Doesn’t cast very far unless you use really light braid-10 lbs-either straight or to 6 lb fluoro-on ML spinning rod. And thanks for the 5/0 hook tip! Always use 4/0 and yes, hookup ratio on flukes not great. Hopefully that will help. Great vid!

I’ve been using spinning setups for 50 years-and personally, there’s no way I’m gonna part w/ my Shimano & Daiwa spinning reels. (Big bass are a breeze w/ my Sedona mounted on a Tatula medium heavy rod.)

Use the old rings, put two on and cross them over “X” then you hook under the Middle of the X the normal way! It works.
