I wouldn’t say dying is meaningless. Holding cap weight on a point and dying losing it is bad. And also dying takes manpower from the commander. A vital piece of the game. The less everyone dies. The more the team gets done and the more manpower the commander has

Once I played about 10 hours the running from place to place didn't feel long any more. In fact, I stopped running and started walking because I got so used to the movement speed. Now, other games seem ridiculously and stupidly fast so there's no cost to being killed once you've moved to a disireable area.

I've been playing for about 4 months and can't get into squads so I create my own squad,I've only just started feeling responsible for my squad,making sure I get outposts up in the best areas possible and build garrisons when possible. Getting my squad into battle quick and respawning as close to battle is just as rewarding as kills....we all love a nice dome shot but I'm learning that it's a team game. Im not too keen on the false vet(McBluffin saying) giving new players a hard time cos it's very hypocritical to do it,we all started somewhere

Here's a great tip if you all like your kd ratio on the more arcade like games: play this game for a few days ... unlearning the bad habits of run and gunning . Then after those few days or when your comfortable with useing your head and cover... go back to cod. Play a few games .. your kd will go up!

I like that hell let loose is actually realistic with character movement and awareness too, you can't just run around at an unrealistically fast speed like a cheetah and expect to win, you actually need to constantly watch your back and all of your environmental surroundings, while being more sneaky and cautious about enemy engagement, and sticking with squad mates and/or fellow blueberries will increase you chances of survival as you can give each other call outs, have strength in numbers, and even carry multiple utilities for the team like smokes, grenades, explosives and firearm ammuntion, supplies for garrisons, nodes, etc. Best choice for beginners in ny opinion would be to stay sneaky and aware of your surroundings, while also working with your team mates who will even be willing to give you good starter tips to getting more experience with the game and gain more skill as a player.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH GAMMA! It is incredibly broken! EFP has given me hardly any issues and the amount of time required to get EFP up and running is NOTHING compared to gamma! Dont waste 16 hours of your life like me trying to get gamma to work and just play EFP!!

Recently started playing as commander, and I know from the beginning of the game if we'll win or won't. Communicative (but not jabbering) helpful SL's who can also think for themself and squad we'll win. Egotripping know it all or depressed SL's we'll loose. And does not have to be all of them, just a few make this theory work. Since you'll always have a few SL's that just say the bare minimum/necessary. Same goes for playing SL within your squad. A very helpful theory, because now I know if I'll get annoyed or angry ... and thus won't. PS : that tip at 2:54 was FAB!!!! I do that too sometimes :)))

I often use the binoculars then switch to my rifle. 9 times out of 10 I get at least a hit if not a kill haha

one thing i dont get about these "realist" games, is how stupid accurate all the guns are. Historically it should be like 1000 bullets for every kill, feels like all guns should be way, way less accurate, then the fights would be a closer ranges

Level 222 here with 70% played as squad lead. Also listen for enemy airplanes and engine sounds and get your squad to react and prio them. Thats how you can destroy enemy plans since the game is so much about build/take down spawnpoints. Eyes in the sky and eyes on the map.

COMMS. MAPS. TAKE YOUR TIME. Listen to your teammates and work together

Great video. Wish more people would narrate their gameplay. Like an in depth analization of why they're doing what they are doing. The mindset of it all. Just love it.

Way, way, way, more fun. And I believe it was one of your tips that got squads to start talking to me. As a new guy the community just does their own thing and typically don't respond to questions about the game. Understandable. But your insanely simple tip of calling out enemy positions opens a whole new world. The players treat you like you know what you're doing. They talk more and start giving you actual tactics orders. This is where you really start learning the game.

This video should be a mandatory watch for any new guy that says he's sick of running for 5 minutes only to die. I just defended for the first time today and wow. What a wonderful dumpster fire. Endless waves of enemies popping smoke and running into the meat grinder. Chaos everywhere. Of course you took the veteran strategy and crippled troop movements and destroyed supply lines, which was cool to watch, but all noobs should try defending early. It's a completely different animal.

I've been hopping on and off Squad every couple of months for years and I'm still feeling useless everytime. Now an actual war started in my country and that put me off playing. Might start playing again soon

I like stalker anomaly with EFP or GAMMA modpacks but i feel a lil bad about it, cuz STALKER 2 is cooming out(Sept 5)and the EFP/GAMMA dudes (who doesnt played the triology) will try it out and they gonna be dissapointed cuz its not the ultra-realistic survival game, and its just a FPS survival horror game like the good old triology and gonna bomb the reviews with negative comments.

I have been playing for two months, and the only <10 times I have positive K/D is when I am in artillery. But I keep playing this game because the non-priority of K/D itself. My skill for FPS and aim tracking is that pity. That's where I found my true strength in playing support and/or SL. "If I can't kill you, I will make a spawn and/or resupply ammo for the people that will kill you!". For the latter, my comms skill really make 8/10 great job to squad up and form together, whether defense or flank attacks. Getting frequent 2-3 commends as SL despite being level 67 is a great online appreciation.
