The rectifier was dirty because when someone changed the oil, he didn’t get it out of the way enough during an oil filter change and got oil on it. The oil collects the dirt.

The lights are none serviceable which means non-replaceable. If you take it apart you might be able to solder in new ones by yourself but that would be a whole different skill set.

I just put one of these in a small building in my backyard. The only problem l had was that it would not screw directly into the fixture. I had to screw the extension into the fixture first and then screwed the fan into the extension. It actually worked better that way for me. I am a little disappointed about not being able to replace the LED bulb, but l have wireless motion security lights that are the same. Like you said, that's just the way it is, but what a waste. But l would recommend this product.

Yes. You do not need a tool. Put a little Dawn dish soap on the valve turn the rim upside down so you're pushing down on it and just push the valve into the hole and you'll be done I use the tool because when you're doing multiple ones it gets tough to do that with your thumbs.

The 303 K&N filter fits on my 2014 classic LT and my 2011 classic. Actually the nut on the filter is above the rectifier bar

@@zfamilygarage Sorry to hear that. I thought all 900 vulcans had the same frame. Oh by the way you don’t have to remove the rectifier just take out the bolt on the right side and pull it down to access the filter. Saves lots of time. Give it a try

Great advice on the Hynduai! My welding skills are spotty (pun intended). When I did the patch panel on my 88, it took everything I had to just put spots everywhere. My OCD wanted to run a line down the butted ends.

@@zfamilygarage what are you using for a welder? I have the Titanium 125, and I just kept turning it down until it stopped blowing through. I'm also using INE E71T-GS .035 flux core wire.

Lincoln 125 it's a 110 voltage welder it is set up for gas and it doesn't like to get low enough for flux core.
