I have a problem filtering the volume of information to create my own modular degree.

How are you saving the information. Now are you saying filtering through learning materials, or simple what is in the learning materials themselves?

Speaking as an ethnic Greek with no non-Greeks as far back as I can trace my family lines. although we all call ourselves Greeks. Greekness is not a singular identity despite Greek all calling themselves Greeks. Some Greeks see themselves purely as citizens of Greece which can be from anywhere; Other Greeks see themselves as a creation of the 19th century Romanic nationalism. Others see themselves as closely related to Christian Romans. And still others (like myself) see themselves also related to ancient Greeks It's sort of like going to London and asking someone who says they are English to define what being English means. For some English means "anglo-saxons". For others, it means a citizenship. For others a culture. and so on. It really depends the specifics of the background of the individual to understand their context of English.

I feel like the guy is getting to the right point the wrong way lol The impact of Alexander is huge but I would never consider placing the modern popularity of the name at his feet lol

How do I get more info on this? My son is only divergent because of his high IQ, and elementary school teachers can’t really understand or teach him.
@DustinMillerPolyInnovatorАй бұрын
We were talking in a futurism sense, as that is what he does in life. I particularly really want to create a platform for modular education. Due to polymaths and people like your son because of how the current system fails us. I write about it here polyinnovator.space/tag/self-education/ , and I did create a notion template for the framework. I will with other knowledge management tools. I might suggest obisidian.md as it will help him organize his thoughts.

Balancing polymathy with specialization requires identifying intersections, collaborating, and maintaining a growth mindset. Organizations and educational institutions can support polymathy development by fostering a culture of collaboration, providing interdisciplinary learning opportunities, and encouraging continuous learning.❤ How can organizations and educational institutions support the development of polymathy in their employees and students?
@DustinMillerPolyInnovatorАй бұрын
I would say by not limiting the students to learning only in one way. Some students are tactile, others visual, and other still are rote learners like the schools prefer. However we need to be adaptable to any style!

Polymathy is a valuable approach to learning and problem-solving, as it allows for versatility, creativity, and innovation. By embracing lifelong learning and collaboration, polymaths can achieve originality, self-actualization, and groundbreaking advancements in various fields.😮 How can individuals balance the pursuit of polymathy with the need for specialization in their professional lives?
@DustinMillerPolyInnovatorАй бұрын
What a great question! Technically polymathy is multi-specialization. Meaning they would just need to market the one specialty that is related to their current job. Then perhaps their next job will be one of their other specialties.!

Being a jack of all trades or a polymath can offer several benefits, including the ability to adapt to different situations, think creatively, and solve problems from multiple perspectives. It can also lead to personal growth and fulfillment, as well as open up a wide range of career opportunities. How can someone develop the mindset and skills necessary to become a jack of all trades or a polymath?
@DustinMillerPolyInnovatorАй бұрын
The most simple answer is key: indulge in that curiosity!

I was left in the dust in my schooling years. I always say I was a scholar, but never an academic. I loved to learn, but I felt held back by my education.
