OMG thank you so much. My issue was the very first one that you mentioned in the video. It is now locked and it will stay that way.

I bought a collar camera for my cat and inserted my microSD into it. The thing formated my SD without asking me. Now I'm here learning how to undo that stupidity :)))

Revisiting your video, and still appreciating it! I got my used 1.8D lens for only $50 and love the sharpness! The only drawback is that it doesn't work on DX cameras, but it's perfect for my Nikon full-frame D750. For the price, I'm loving it! Keep up the great work

My son has coloboma and so does his half sister on his dads side. His father also had a sister with it who passed from charge syndrome (coloboma can be an indicator of other internal issues that make up Charge) around 5 years old.

Would two of these work to trigger both the camera shutter remotely and an off camera flash remotely ( one on camera , one on flash - using the trigger button on the unit attached to the flash, to trip flash and shutter ). Or would I need a third to act just as a remote shutter release to do everything I want ?

Any advice on ERR message? I have a D3, I saw a couple other videos that said to change the clock battery, which I did but that didn't work. Any ideas? Oh! Also I only shoot in manual mode. The command dial is not responding to change the shutter speed. I changed it to the other modes and the command dial works. Not sure where to go from here.

Did you have a chance to compare Shadow recovery in ISO 800 and above for both? In theory they should be about the same at ISO 400 and the 6D mark II should be better by ISO 800 and above. But its just a theory.

Looking through a device screen of my own, one can't be 100% sure but, to my eye, on your color prints, it looks like they lifted the shadow side a bit on the first one to fix a mud-pie effect you had going on the guy's face, and on the one with banding problems they expanded the dynamic range just a bit to make your skyscrapers in the background look more intentional. Hard to tell filtered through my own device, but that's the difference I see in that quick flash of the second picture. If the sky was altered or transplanted in or cleaned up with an eraser improving dynamic range will sometimes also surface hidden banding that might have been introduced through those types of processes - should that be applicable to your second print Miller now has a page on their website showing things in a digital file that can surface as banding in a print. They include suggested measures and corrections.

Running it rn. Problem is I have somewhere between 1TB and 2TB of data on an external i'm trying to recover. obviously need to send the data to a different drive during the recovery process. but what if I don't have any other drives big enough? can I split up the recovery process to several drives? thanks anyone.

Thank you for the review. But I think you miss the point that this lens has the best bokeh of all Nikon F "50ish" lenses. No, it's not the sharpest lens and it has a lot of focus shift. But the rendering (especially for people photography) is incredible. And yes, it works great still today on mirrorless cameras like the Nikon Zf with an FTZII adapter.
@TechnikMeister24 ай бұрын
The G is a tad sharper in the corners at 1.8 only, but the D renders nicer images that are easier to edit, because you hardly have to do anything with the NEF file.

The point about manufacturers making it possible (and in fact encouraging!) to register your gear for warranty, but at the same time not having a simple process to verify serial numbers against theft reports is ridiculous, but it makes (cynical) sense for the manufacturers to not provide a service that would also facilitate the second-hand market for their gear. Which in turn speaks volumes about how massively overpriced new gear really is across the board.
