Absolute Boyfriend is good a series. Weird, but good. However, I wasn't a fan of the ending, so I didn't end up keeping my set, as I will probably never go back to it because of that.

If anyone just wants to read Initial D, isn't bothered about owning it in any form, or doesn't know if they want to commit to getting all the volumes. It's one of the manga series that's fully available on kindle unlimited.

Might have something to do with them loosing a lot of the market outside of the UK since many customers had trouble with unforeseen customs expenses. They covered it at first until they operated at a loss. I wouldn’t have minded continuing buying from them if they did complete shipments so I could calculate the extra cost but with partial shipments I had to pay around 10 euros extra per package. It must be more expensive for them with partial shipping too. So raising their prices etc could be to cover those losses. But that’s just me speculating.

@@azevedo1046 nothing specific but I have noticed for example yen press volumes that aren't recent releases have gone down about 50p a volume. I haven't looked around at other publishers cause I haven't placed an order in a while. If they say anything to the affiliates I'll share it as soon as I know

I go to different cons for different things. A lot of events through the year it's a chance to get something signed by Doctor Who cast or do some shopping. That's all just build up for Thought Bubble in November, hundreds of comic creators, Cinebook running a bogof, Travelling Man (as a main sponsor) having a large main trade stand and a Travelling Manga stand. That one is a con that's actually about the comics rather than the media and merch you often see elsewhere.

Eyyyyy finally absolute boyfriend 😂 there is a fourth volume of super morning star and that one is the final volume. Volume four of classmates might have been cheaper because it’s one a lot of people don’t like and even say to skip that one when reading, it’s because it’s a side couple that is student x teacher.

For me the downside to the cardboard packaging is the books will get wet if it rains as they get left on the doorstep if I'm not in. I often wish that i could specify Saturday delivery only, would solve a lot of headaches.
