Yes, the water at Combley is dyed to combat the heavy weed growth. However, the lake's clarity is still pretty good.

Syncro xt is by far the worst line i have ever used. First time using it, i spooled my reels up fresh just before a trip to france. I was fishing 12-14 wraps so not far, i cracked off 5 times on the cast in the first couple of days.

Try not to over bait and don't ignore running rigs, those carp are some of the riggyist I have ever fished for, look at PB's hit n run system, good luck!
