Forgot a question. Can ice water brak a seeds dormancy? If so, how long in in icewater?

Great video. Rarely does anyone mention squirrels and such digging up the seeds. Question: What soil temp do these seeds germinate? I think I understand to plant late fall and seeds will germinate when cold. Hard for me to understand-they are opposite many plants. Any luck with planting seeds still in the green fruit?
