Barbara Walters was once asked if she’d ever felt an attraction between herself and any of the men she’d interviewed. She played the very end of this interview and said that she and Clint had a definite attraction and chemistry, which you can see in the last minute or so of this interview. No relationship ensued, but she definitely felt there was a “spark” between them.

You can say what you want but this fella worked his way up and did the hard yards to make it. Many of this country’s comedians today do one season in Edinburgh and suddenly they’re on Channel 4. This humour is real and it’s funny.

Salieri's music is really beautiful, especially his operas, he really was a good voice composer like Nicola Porpora

This is one of the best interviews of Bette in her later years - many people seem annoyed by it but this was so refreshing - hearing very different questions and a more conversational style. We hear a very different Bette here but the stalwart fans moaning would rather just hear rehashes of Carson style interviews with her which over the decades had precisely the same questions every time. This was delightful to watch. And for those moaning about star signs - Bette was into this!!!

I was in a nightclub in Brighton in the mid 1970s and Jim was the act on the show. He asked me to dance before he did his act, and his driver asked my friend to dance. He was a real gentleman, and we had a good chat whilst smooching around the dance floor.

The music sounds like if you played it upstairs in the house and hear it coming through the floor, so it’s not high quality but more low quality.
