Hello, Any chance you could provide the same instruction for the current version of the FS-IA6 receiver? They’ve updated the circuit board to a different layout… John

Wow really easy to do ,you make the receiver look bigger than it actually is ,very tricky for old eyes but doable thanks just need to set voltage alarms next not really sure how to do that but keep will keep trying many thanks

Thanks for the video! I’m want to fly with a 1s lipo and I’m wondering if the voltage telemetry would work with a 1s lipo too. It only has the jr or the jst adapter. Do you have an idea for that?

Great video! And the FS-i6 is a very good transmitter. Try to use as thin and elastic cable as possible! I already got 4 models with this modification. You could measure up to 3 cells batteries, max 10V. Thus, you'd have alert at 9.9V (3.3 per cell) and alarm at 9.3V (3.1 per cell) that sounds too low. You could also measure a voltage of only one cell, which is acceptable on batteries in good working condition.

hello, it works, but when I tried to cut the tin between the pin and bat the receiver no longer works, and I can no longer use it, you would have a solution to bring it back to life

Did somebody test with a 3S 11.1V battery ? I would like to add a Variometer (this one FrSky Variometer Sensor w/Smart Port (High Precision Version) on hobbyking website), is that possible with the update of the FS-I6 transmitter to 14 chanels and a FS-IA6B receiver ? how to connect ? how it work on the transmitter, when glider goes up sound ? goes down another sound ? Is that possible ? Thanks for your advice

Hi, I mostly fly 3s batteries with no problem. I also have a glider with a variometer connected to my FS-IS6B receiver, you connect the sensor directly to the i.Bus input in the receiver. The sensor I use is the FlySky-FS-CAT01: www.banggood.com/FlySky-FS-CAT01-Altitude-Sensor-I_bus-Data-Port-Compatible-FS-i6-FS-i8-FS-i10-Transmitter-p-1661314.html?cur_warehouse=CN&rmmds=buy On your upgraded transmitter you have a function called "Vario", that is what gives you the two different tones when the plane is climbing or sinking. I loved that function! Good luck!

@@rcflyingprojects8482 Hi, I'm ordering the material, but struggle to understand how I'll be able to connect a tension sensor and the altitude sensor on the FS-Ia 6 or 10 receiver. On each sensor à can see a plug with 3 connections like on a servo. Even if I see 3 sensors inputs on the I bus side.

@@fredericgrob384 You need a FS-IS6B receiver. There is only one input (three pins servo like) for sensors on the receiver, but the sensor has a connector that connects to the receiver and on the other side it has an "IN", a female conector where you can connect another sensor, like in a chain. I don't know how many sensors you can connect.

Thanks for your work and the sharing, i appreciate that. Can it work on 3s/4s? What's the maximum voltage i can connect to my receiver?
@Adritangopo
@Adritangopo 3 жыл бұрын
Hello. The max voltage to power the receiver is 6.5v indicated by the manufacturer. But the voltage that you can test is higher. I most of the time fly 3s (11.1V nominal) batteries using the bec in the esc to power the receiver.
