Hey, just curious of your thoughts. I currently have a JBL eon compact for ceremony and cocktail if needed. Looking to get either Mackie go or everse 8. Is there that much of a difference?

So personally I HATE the Everse. Sound is shit, you have to press multiple buttons and turn multiple dials to do anything. Thump GO is the best and actually LOOKS like a speaker not a ridiculous box. Easy switchable Eq, adjustments with one button, so you can actually use it as a mixer

Haze machines should be mandatory at all events! Lasers look epic with haze. I feel some beams would have looked great at this setup too. I have so many issues with venues not wanting to allow me to use water based haze machines, but it really makes a difference. Thanks for sharing.

@@MrMaui38 thank you! I’m big on knowing multiple genres and not being backed into a niche. I got them from Event Decor Direct. Not sure on the length but we use two on each stand. Have in both black and white, they’re awesome and definitely give it a classy look 🫡

Very nice setup!!! As expected, the Mackie's sound awesome they do great on their own. I have the 12 A and use them for parties of 100 to 150 and they do great. Keep rocking it man "good job"

Damn nice setup bro! Hows the rcf 8008 holding up are you happy with it so far compared to other subs you used in the past? I just sold my pair of 8003mk2 and trying to see if i would be happy with a 8008 jbl srx828sp or a bass boss ssp118. I went to demo the 8008 vs the qsc ks118 8006 and 8004 and the 8008 was an absolute winner.

Definitely a dual will get you more output than the singles but I’m not a fan of anything JBL!

@@LowVybezEnvoy1 you’ll love it. Just keep in mind the clip light is normal and you can basically ignore it. I keep my sub at -5 and then my crossover at around -10

please help. looking for a loud, clear and bassy loudspeaker and found the mackie 215 and the macki 212 XT which have the same price. To note that am a begineer dj who plays in family parties etc, well up to 120 pax. so, which 1 to go with? the 215 seems to have more bass but is it worth sacrificing the other additional options on the 212 Xt to go for the additional bass on the 215?
