I think you misunderstood this category. It's NOT just Tour of the Island race. The goal is to start from the very beginning of the game and complete Tour of the Island race since it gives you an achievement. So you first need to complete a couple races.

I don't have the means to comment. I mean, I have a mic of course, but I live with my family in a small flat, so recording any kind of audio is pretty much impossible, because someone is always making noise :) And I also have a stutter and not much time. @NeedForWalkthroughs when I do they part the speed doesn't go as fast. I got close to getting a Gold metal for this. What's the best way to do this. I connect the lines and edges good when turning

I find the most crucial is the very last corner, which is difficult to master, because the apex is hidden behind tunnel.

I'd say the very last corner is the most important as the apex is not visible due to tunnel wall, so it's difficult to hit that apex.

Yes, the acceleration of CLK-GTR is slower in 5th gear compared to 6th gear. Many cars in NFS 3 and 4 have "broken" gears.
