Nice video. I have been using Excel for tracking my job searches since 2014. I just use one spreadsheet that I have set to autosave so I don't lose anything. My columns for searching are Company Name, Position, Date (app date), City, Contact Type, Site, Email Submission Address and Comments. I use a tab in my spreadsheet to have list data that I can use in a drop-down. For example, the Contact Type field has a drop-down list that contains Application Submission, Interview-in person, Interview-phone, phone call, and Resume submission. This is a great way to keep track of jobs long term, which is helpful for someone who does contract work and changes jobs regularly. It's also helpful for keeping track of resume submissions as well as submitting job searches for unemployment. I also have my email set up to put job application confirmations in a separate folder in case unemployment needs to do verifications as a result of an audit.

I’m a physics major and I am taking a 300 level lab course right now. I have a professor who thinks so highly of herself and makes me feel I lack intelligence. Since this is a lab course, and the experiments are heavy, I also have a lab partner who absolutely sucks. I’m stuck with doing everything by myself and prof knows this a bit too. Today she accused me of cheating. I have a really bad anxiety when someone is yelling at me and asks me a question. Just because I wasn’t able to explain one thing, she yelled at me and my partner and I felt very embarrassed. I have to get a good grade in this class in order to not see her again. The sad part is that she’s the only one teaching this course in the entire university 😓. My lab partner is so useless and now I have a depression because of this. This is just week 7th since the school started😭

I start in two days and I have to go get my student ID and presumably my parking pass before class starts. Do we even have a parking pass? I don't know! Two of the books I need were out of stock, and there was no tour so I only have general idea of my classes, which I enrolled in rather late because I wasn't allowed to enroll until after I officially got into the Honors program. So I'm speedrunning videos like this cause I'm excited but also nervous about missing something vital that isn't mentioned anywhere on my account.. Let's goooo

When you complete your study abroad do you have to go back to your county?? or can you stay in your study abroad place and start job hunting
@TheMBlog
@TheMBlog 2 жыл бұрын
This is a good question! I know you’ll probably need a work visa and to get this you’ll need to get sponsored by a company in that country. Most likely you would need to job hunt before arriving to the country and before going to study abroad. I would explain to the company you’ll need a work visa after studying abroad.

So lets say i take the 2 year degree for college just for the basic trianing like math, science etc and i want to move to a university, what can i do?
@TheMBlog
@TheMBlog 2 жыл бұрын
You can transfer! Many 2 year colleges have articulation agreements with nearby universities. Articulation agreement is a fancy name for “guaranteed admission for completion of selected classes with a passing grade”. These classes are mostly the basic training and if you complete those you can get a guaranteed admission that university. If your college doesn’t have one of these you can still transfer but you’ll need to see what classes they accept and how many you’ll need to take. I would ask a councilor if they have a website where it shows you each university paired with another university and the classes they accept. In california we assist.org

Oh and also you can most likely get an associates degree before entering your transfer university:)
