i don't have the date, but right around this time, perhaps the same weekend, i saw LAG for the first time here in MN. i didn't note the set list back then, but this is likely very close to what i heard that night, if not outright the same. i consider it the first time i saw LAG, although sometime circa 95 or 96 i saw the band when Chris Van Dahl was the lead vocalist. i never got to see LAG back in the heyday.

I discovered these guys in 1989 and have never looked back

To bad he get with ac dc after bon scott died. He would have been perfect for the vocals. But he's a showman. I don't think there would have been enough room for him and angus sharing the stage. Would have been cool to see.

I knew of Pretty boy Floyd growing up but I gave leather Boyz with electric toyz a fair shake on the turntable. I can honestly say I haven't enjoyed a album I haven't heard before like this since 2003 when I picked up waking the fallen by Avenged Sevenfold. I am a prime example of a musician not playing the kind of music they listen to. I played in thrash/death metal bands in the south Florida music scene from 97 to 2006 in my free time I listen to 80s glam, 70s hard rock like Blue oyster cult, and my guilty pleasure 80s and 90s pop music. Saw this tour at Jones Hall in Houston. It was good but their final show from faith hope love at a small club that used to be a Krogers was life changing. They do much better in smaller venues. Bigger punch. Love this band.

What a phenomenal band this was. Even tho the audio is obviously awful due to the constraints of the day. It’s a pity we can’t find a bootleg tape of the show and synch it to the video. I was standing right at the back watching this. Vain still blew me away. And here I am re-experiencing it like a Time Machine 35 years later… Jesus to be 20 years old again, back there, at these times. Amazing. Anyway… I went to tge after party, pulled a girl, met Skid Row and Vain, so you can say it was a great night. What a time to be alive ❤️
