Real Fender. Buzzing bass strings is a pretty standard, no matter if tele, strat, modern offset models.

I always thought that Bach would prefer electric guitar to play this piece. It is perfect. Well done bro!! 👏🏻😔👏🏻

i appreciate this being played with some gain and not a wall of digtial distortion, compressor, layers of modulation with a shred style, this feels much bigger

really interesting style. Usually people come at classical on electric with a jazz or classical approach. And baroque often gets obliterated by metalheads. This is completely listenable. Amazing work

I was sceptical, but I was very wrong. Bach himself would have given this a standing ovation.

I’ve spent many hours learning this wonderful piece (Segovia’s interpretation) on classical guitar….a masterpiece. I also enjoy playing other pieces, especially by Sor, on my Gibson Les Paul Custom through a Fender pro reverb amp. Electric guitars can be used for any music. This performance is so good because it retains the essence of the piece….and also because a plectrum is used instead of fingers. That’s what makes it special…so difficult! Well done 👍🍷

I'm curious as to why hybrid picking or more forceful string skipping wasn't employed in the crossing strings section starting @ 5:19-20? However, I did notice it was addressed BEFORE the end of this section @ 7:34... raising the intensity significantly. Whatever the case, I enjoyed the performance very much. Kudos! ❤

A complete transformation of the times and of Johann Sebastian Bach himself. Just magic. I am amazed. There are no words for admiration.

This is wonderful! With no disrepect it would guess that if you turned the amplifier up to get a bit of feedback and singing distortion the compression and increased sustain plus the harsher tone would make this sound more like the violin it was composed for. In this redition the tone is calming and nostalgic but the emotion seems a bit subdued, with greater sustain and compression plus with a harsher tone this composition would become more exciting and dramatic, more emotionally expressive. I feel very sure that it would be successful played ether way and to equaly musical ends.

bloody disaster, everything done with a pick... I'm astonished! ❤❤❤ Yeap... some hybrid picking from time to time, but those fast picking with string skipping at 06:30 to 07:30 ... unbelievable.

This should be required listening for all kids who think of picking up the electric guitar. Your video is criminally underrated, it's so good !
Very nice respectful interpretation. Great dynamic control. Interesting mix of plectrum and finger plucking. Well done!

Nice! Thank's for doing things differently, plying this with a pick, I liked the middle tremolo section... What I loved the most is definitely your sincerity. I've almost always preferred musicians that ply things in their own way, or listening to concertist rehearsing before a concert, repeating short phrases. I always felt that I get more of the individuality of artist, I get more what's inside their head or heart at that moment. As a professional musician my self, I prefer sincerity way much more than chirurgical precision. CONGRATS!!!!

The 1st time I watched this I just got home from a long day and was drinking a glass of scotch. After 2 sips, I’m thinking man this is really potent whiskey. I was blown away. As I watched I realized this musician is in his element…..watch him….his soul is in a different world. His brain is still commanding his nervous system to play the notes thru muscle memory but he is in a different world. He’s left his body. Absolutely beautiful Edvard. Notice the nylon string guitar head in the right background? You don’t learn something like this by picking up your electric guitar one day and learning to play TAB. He’s been playing classical for quite awhile. Great color, tone….the plectrum gives a bit different taste and contrast. Makes me appreciate Bach more listening to individual single notes by themselves or during a scale with 2 note chords or triads. Beautifully played Edvard. ALSO, a huge salute to your team. The audio was spot on. The video was perfect…with most on the subject with perfectly timed scenes of nature. Just enough to ignite the listeners imagination but not distract from the subject. It was artful to see that. Great team. All of you are talented. I see great things in your future.
