After hearing Patons vision on the roster, it makes sense. Keeping Krum is a move to try and develop a guy to replace either Bolles or McGlinchey. That position will have to be addressed much sooner than WR (given the young guys at WR like mims, vele, and Franklin). I don’t think there’s a guy rostered that anyone can say “he’s our guy at tackle for the next 6 or 7 years” and they’re trying to develop that guy

Stidham is such a waste of a roster spot. Perine and Griffith being gone aren't surprises, Perine does not bring one single thing thay the other 4 RBs don't already bring, and Griffith can't stop the run and definitely can't cover the pass, he should've been gone a while ago. Watson making the team isn't a surprise either, I had him making the team and that's when I had 4 other RB/FB on my roster as well.

With the versatility of Adkins being able to play both TE/FB do you think maybe they go a different direction? Like maybe OL for depth after injury to Quinn Bailey?

The gamble is to have a rookie qb develop with a very thin wr room. And it's not like our TEs or RBs will catch a ton of passes.

5 WR's and 4 TE's. Maybe more 2 TE sets. Need more TE production. I understand cutting Patrick honestly, we're going for a younger team and he is going to be 31 and hasn't played in 2 years. I also get cutting Burton as Adkins can play FB. Samaje didnt help himself in preseason. I dont really get keeping Strnad, he's been injured and non-productive. ESPN roster is showing 10 linebackers. Why keep him and Perkins instead of a keeping a 6th WR ?

Happy for Tim with the Lions. So much to factor in when choosing the final 53. I'm happy with the initial list. A few shockers but with practice squad movements I think the Broncos did well. It's going to be a fun season to watch. GO BRONCOS!! Rock on fellas.

Defensive depth will allow for situational “ platooning” our attack . We need to bring along the defensive middle ! The WR crew needs to step it up now ! Including our veterans ! Nobody is proven yet ! Strange you put your support in Nix put some serious weapons around him ….. Sutton you got your money now earn it ! Johnson and Humphrey need to resign !!!! Think we kept a few players that should have been released …… offensive line for one ! Smith and Skinner defensively are ones I expect performance !!!!

Basically practice squad is a creative way to keep a reserve balance if you build it correctly it just a reserve to keep game specific plug in players . Name it what you want ? Just would like to see rules in reference to PS changed .
