Going with Voja but I was tempted for Will’s but I am not that familiar with all of those players. And Luka can’t be the only one on his team *again*.

There's no way USA doesn't win, they literally play more basketball than any other nation and they picked their best current players. Other countries will have great teams, but facts are facts. These guys are the best of the best of the best.

Well, Trey is almost certainly going to have to play in the regular season because he's the only 3rd point G on the roster! (Pickett will be released or spend the season in the G-League). If Jamal or Westrbook misses any games (which is certain), then Trey will be the #2 PG by default. The only other option would be to play Christian Braun at the PG and he's not a PG, and Julian Strawther or Peyton Watson at the 2 neither of which would be good. You don't want Strawther having to start at 2 since he's essentially a rookie. And Watson isn't a 2.

I think I agree that Trey is likely next in line if either Russ or Jamal has to miss any chunk of time. Wish we had another ballhandler as insurance -GJ

This is what the Nuggets need, a couple of undrafted gems to strengthen the bench and hopefully another title run
@WJones235 күн бұрын
I’m so curious to see if he gets any min and how that might go. It’s our most shallow position.

Do you think Trey could help the Nuggets win another title?
@WJones235 күн бұрын
Expecting him to massively contribute like that this season is probably too much. But hopefully the Nuggets find ways to keep developing him and an option for next season as well. Who knows he could surprise and help the nuggets stay fresh in the regular season. Needs a bit more playmaking prowess -WJ

Who cares about Pickett's feelings? He's getting paid $5,8m. If someone told me "you suck at your job! Here's $5,8m to go away and relax on your couch!" I could find a way to live with it. "Oh, no! My dream of playing in the NBA is dead! Guess I'll have to buy my own island and all the fish to bury my tears!" If people are mean to you on Twitter, then quit Twitter. Which is not actually a loss. Is there some requirement that people post on social media? Have a private account for just your friends and forget about the masses.

Is it possible that some good college players just can't make the move to NBA? Pickett looks very tentative and lacks. confidence.

Will I really appreciate you personally talking about Pickett. Unfortunately he hasn't played well but I feel very sad for him. He seems like a really nice guy.
@WJones23Күн бұрын
Thank you! Yeah I just felt bad about the whole situation. There may be a ton of reasons we dont know for why he didn't play well, but it's just the fact of the matter that it didn't go well for him at all
@AccordingSign3210 күн бұрын
Do you think Denver will move off of Jalen Pickett and Zeke Nnaji, whether in the offseason or by the trade deadline? I really think they need to. Would be nice to get Gordon Hayward or Cedi Osman for the bench. I remember vaguely MPJ said something about being in a lot of pain late in the playoffs, in 2023 and last year. I wonder if that’s why his play drops off like it did in the Miami Series and the Wolves series. So a vet SF with a solid 3 to back up or fill in if necessary for the playoffs would also be good to have
@WJones2310 күн бұрын
I really hope they do. Pickett may just get waived soon. We may have to try to play Zeke to get some of his value rehabbed. We could use another guard and SF, but hopefully Vlatko and Pwat could fill that somewhat
@SinkrSwim10 күн бұрын
@@WJones23 we won't wave Pickett. That's just dead money on the cap we don't need to waste and he can still be a salary option to trade at the deadline.
@DD-sr9xm11 күн бұрын
Sorry but Jamal is not good at playmaking. He generates assists when Jokic is on the court because Jokic sets him up then he passes to open knock down shooters. But when Jamal runs the bench unit, he is awful … both as a play maker and as a scorer. Jamal is a function of Jokic, without Jokic he is a below average player.

Love Graces explanation about the role of point guards. I think she's right though. I think Trey has been awesome to watch but could work a little bit more on being a facilitator, as could Jamal sometimes. He's been fun though. 😍😂

Booth arrogantly reached on experienced college players Tyson, Pickett and even Strawther in his delusional grand empire dynasty plan.Pickett and Tyson athletically dont even belong in the league.It's obvious..Booths dynasty plan was pathetic from the start. Mainly because of the up and coming teams in the West.(plus injury potential) Booth is a full of hubris ,fool

Idk how you can watch that finals series and think that defense was their problem. They held Boston to their lowest in the play-offs, but they couldn't break 100 points because the role players shot 24% from 3. Boston's defense won them that series.
@JovicaMilutinovic12 күн бұрын
It means a lot when a player is actually wanted with the intention, hey Russ, we believe that you can help us win the championship." Psychologically, it will help Russ and I believe that he will be smiling and help the players on and off the court. That is the type of player who is always in shape and doesn't stop training, Malone is not a coach like the last two who coached RW. I believe that Denver will reach the finals of the West this year even from 4 or 5 seats. Clay Thomson seems to be what Dallas was looking for, so along with Saric and Russ, I expect good games from Watson, Zeke and Julian. I believe that there will be problems with Jamal, but it can be covered, especially with Russ, who in 20 minutes of the game can significantly contribute to Denver's game, either stabilizing or improving Denver game, depending on the situation.and. from the mood of Jamal and MPJ if they have bad nights.Denver's attack will look different, especially for opponents. You know it's not the same when you are attacked by Jokic and Jamal (two man game), the teams have already read that game to a good extent, and now you have a RW in front of you who can outrun you in a second, someone who attacks the rim through two players and knows how to pass the ball . If he can give Denver 12 ppg, 5 assists and 5 rebounds from the bench in 20 minutes of play, like in the last season of the Clippers, that's great. Greetings to all Nuggets fans from Serbia, stay well and let's make another run for gold. And I almost forgot, watching the Serbian team against Australia and the USA, even though they did not play with a full squad... without Bogdanovic and Milutinov, with a lot of players who will not be active in the rotation when the Olympics start, I noticed that Micic is getting better and better and that if Denver has a free spot and the Hornets don't want him, I think he would be a good addition and the final part of Denver's roster for next season. Maybe that's how we can get rid of Tyson, Pickett..

Grace is onto something with back guards lol. There’s a version of 2030 where we have 32 teaks with 4 guys 6’1”-6’6” and a big small forward or power forward at the 5. Suddenly FG and BG start showing up on their player cards. They’re already labelling player positions more ambiguously
