Thanks Syah! We're using Kompacplus for the wet kitchen countertop, and quartz for the Island and dry pantry.

Largely due to price. We're using Vulcan for the island and dry pantry since its part of the living room and exposed. Our wet kitchen is kinda tucked away so we figured we could save the money by opting for the cheaper alternative! So far we don't have any complains about it.

Your bay window cabinet is wrong already, there is a wall gap between window frame and cabinet. Wan to follow condo style, follow properly, insist on the cabinet built to window frame, thats what i did for my bto too. Cant listen 100% to id as well

Hi Norman! The bay window was the only carpentry we kept from the previous owner haha we didn't do anything except re-laminating the drawer doors. We're not too bothered by the gap as we're planning to install cushion across the entire bay seating and that should cover up the gap :)

Have you tried adjusting the flushing mechanism for the toilet bowl? The volume of water can be adjusted in most of the mechanism. Mine uses the Geberit and I adjusted it to give me a bigger volume. As for stainless steel sink, well, it is just a function of use. Different materials have different problems. Granite sinks after a few year will turn white. Black stainless steel sinks will scratch and reveal their silver portion eventually.

Hey! Thanks so much for the recommendation on the toilet bowl water level. We've just adjusted it like you've mentioned! Ahh.. we have a black granite sink in our wet kitchen as well, hope it doesnt turn white anytime soon haha

Nice house! I noticed you have installed sink as well as water dispenser on your kitchen island. Is that allowed for HDB?

Hey Aileen! Thank you, yes the sofa is really comfortable and they're from KingLiving. You can chose the upholstery for ours its around 6k.

I guess it's an Asian design mentality to have two different kitchen "dry/wet" environment, as well as the washer on the enclosed balcony area in an apartment. Wasteful use of space...

Hmm, guess it is not so much about an Asian mentality, but rather we wanted to have a dry kitchen to host; at the same time, to keep the fumes within the wet kitchen, should we decide to cook. Yup, washer is located in the service yard since the pipes were already there, we didn't bother relocating the pipes. Next home maybe? :)

Hi Sun, sorry we missed your comment! Our lights are all from Vlux (www.vlux.com.sg/), they are adjustable in terms of the temperature and brightness but we typically keep them at 3000k (Warm light) :)

Hi Marcus, thanks for the compliments! Happy to share - Sofa from King Living, Dining Table from Grey Hammer, all the mirrors in the house are all custom-made but I think perhaps on Taobao there are similar shapes :)

Hi! Its swansdown for most of the white-ish walls, Dinosaur Grey for our foyer and combination of gray dew and gray glove for the rest of the rooms!

Dude your living room window cabinet height should at least touch the window frame, covering up the wall between cabinet and window. Now there is a gap between cabinet and window frame it look awkward.

Good point! Haha that was the only carpentry we retained from the previous owner. Decided not to redo that cuz it wasn’t worth the $$ , we are considering to add cushion across the bay window so that should fix it.
