Was my understanding we did not have to respond to a subpoena. Only a court order?

The two tests are quite similar. They differ mainly in the frequency of type of question. Fir example , the Masters test has more fact questions than the Clinical test. Test prep for content is largely the same.

No one is talking about the LASW exam? The advanced social work exam. Can you help?. Attempted the LICSW and didn't pass it so trying to take the LASW instead. The clinical exam is horrible

The LCSW exam is like no other test - I've heard so many people say something like "I've been a social worker for ten years and am just going to give the test a shot", or something equally stupid. THIS test does not just test for "knowledge", as many of the correct answers on the vignettes are nothing that you would actually do in real life practice. You need a program that teaches you exactly what they're looking for which, again, may be something no one would ever do, especially when needing to choose something you would do "first". That being said, good test-study programs will tell you that all of the times a question only asks "what would you do", they are ALWAYS assuming what you would do FIRST (which is valuable for you to know for those questions whereby every answer is right). I used a 5-volume study program for 9 months before I felt ready to take the test, and found every bit of that study (both content and time) absolutely necessary. Use a program, or don't pass. Plain and simple. Jozelle W., LCSW, RN

SFAREAFI (SAFETY, FEELINGS, ACCESS,REFER,EDUCATE,ADVOCATE,FACILATATE,INTERVENE) this is the acronym I use when deciding how to answer a question on the exam. Your answer will be based on answers that correspond in this order the first thing to do is to always protect the client IE safety in the last thing to do is intervene ( we always want to empower the client).

Wouldn't it be great if there was a sequence that was the same and unchangeable and worked every time. My long experience in social work that we cannot rely on an acronym to guide our work. The questions on the ASWB exams can be analyzed and understood. This is what we teach at www.passitpro.com.

I found your videos just a few days before my LBSW exam. I went through all of them and was instrumental in helping me pass this exam. Yes, I passed my LBSW exam yesterday and I wanted to let you know that all your advice was on point! I have watched many videos on youtube to prep for this exam. All of them were helpful and informational but your videos just filtered it down to what was important. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!
