Gary, thank you for your many revisions of this mantra, resulting in a beautiful poetic synthesis of your admirable creed. Perfectionism, in the negative sense of disordered or excessive attention to less critical details is a struggle of mine, but the same desire and drive for excellence, when rightly ordered as done for the glory of God, is nothing less than a reflection of the unmoved mover and has eternal value. That is your meditation. There is so much in it that resonates with me-such as “Love itself.,” for God is reckless love and not anything more or less. You have an understanding of God that I appreciate, a unique angle of the Divine that speaks truth. I desire more than anything to have that intimacy with Christ of which you speak, to be -“ipse Christus”, to be Christ himself, without separation-the trinity living within me. That people would look at me and see Christ. Not that I’m there by any means, but God is at work and he will complete the work he has started. The only thing which I see as missing from your meditation is Divine Filiation-our relationship with the eternal Being as children of God-even more so than children of our natural parents because of our spiritual adoption (through baptism) and because our Creator was our first cause. (Our natural parents were our secondary cause). Perhaps an additional meditation for this Christmas season: “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt amongst us…and to all who received him he gave the power to become children of God.” John the Beloved.

Where is the embryonic breathe at in this video?

Reverse abdominal breathing is not recommended until after a full year of practicing full belly breathing. Thank you for the advice. I will try.
