I know you have a video on this, but I'm having a real issue trying to find an apartment. How do I find something that's not a scam?
@NaturallyKenya11 сағат бұрын
I recommend getting here first to see the apartment yourself, unless you find something that’s trustworthy through a friend!

I think it's definitely genetic! I live in Austria and have family in Germany, and there are plenty of men here who are more of the larger type of build than the smaller/more slender Italians! But personally, I like smaller men. :)

How early should I start this process? I applied to Sapienza University in November, and last week, I learned that I was pre-accepted, and I had to take a test. I took the test last week, and I still need to hear back. What do you recommend I do at this point?

I have been watching you over the years, and your transition and growth has been evident and inspiring. No matter where you go, you take you with you.I would be curious how you and your husband have adapted as an interracial couple. The US places great emphasis on race, is this the case in Italy? Tfs and continue success with your endeavors! 😊

I appreciate your support! It means a lot. Honestly, I've been in my relationship for many years that sometimes I forget about the differences or how others may look at us from the outside. I have always said that in relationships of any kind (romantic, friendships, etc.), it's about two souls connecting rather than the color of their skin. Of course, I'm aware of how society often emphasizes race, especially in a divisive context, but with open communication and mutual respect for experiences, navigating through any external influences or negativity has proved to be the key for me. I hope that sheds light on my experience!

Italians work 48 hrs a week? Does it include the so-called mandatory "siesta"?? This tradition is apparently still common around rural areas and small towns. If You take into account the fact that they work 8hrs a day + 1-2hrs of siesta, that would make sense. Siesta is not included in a daily wage, right? That would be crazy. :)

I’m not sure how much you pack, but if you keep some plain colored capsule pieces you can rotate and pair together, it might be possible! I’d probably need at least a travel backpack as well. Haha! 😆

The pidgeon one refers, actually, to the real act of hunting it. Bean were used as bait strapped with string, so yeah, hunting 2 pidgeons with a single bean would be considered overperforming. Nowadays you hardly find pidgeons in any restaurant, yet in Veneto you can still find in some places "Sopa Coada" (originally in the Treviso area) which is a soup made out of pidgeon's broth. As in most cases in Italian cuisine, is a very poor dish that comes from the country tradition.

Hi! I haven't yet been able to relocate from America (St. Louis, MO) to Italy, but I visit often and try to incorporate some Italian rituals into my life in the US. For instance, I bought a moka pot and cherish the time it takes to make that espresso every morning. I think about my day while I wait for it, and then I give myself time to enjoy the espresso before I do anything else. I've also been trying to do more cooking with simple foods, like making simple pasta sauces with tomatoes run through a tomato mill.
