Dollar Tree corporate sets the hours for employees to work, managers r on salaries. So if Managers r over-worked with 55 hrs a wk or u have the ones that take advantage of getting out at 1pm for a family b-day they get paid that same salary regardless of the long or skipped hours in the week. Cashiers n stock workers r screwed because those r ''ONLY'' part time hours of 4 to 5 hours a day..10 to 22 hours a week, so there is only 1 cashier and 1 manager most of the day. cashiers work 7:30am to 12:30noon, overlapping 11:30am to 3:30pm, 2:30pm-6:30pm, 5:30pm-10-30pm closing time..depending on the neighborhood you live in. Some close at 9pm. Assistant managers work scheduled hours are 25 to 36 hours. Cashiers DO NOT get benefits, hours are slice that way so CORPORATE doesnt have to offer or pay medical or other benefits.

Our dollar tree is only open part of the day it has been like that for months. All I can figure is their management is bad and they can’t keep help. I quit going there because they raised their prices and their staff is not very pleasant the store is always cluttered and just a huge mess.
