Very beautiful. You just got to mix some big ferns in there too. Also a small fountain-Use the same buckets, fill it with larger rocks and water, add a pump and voila. The trickling water sounds great. Why did you leave the smaller plants in their pots? Won't it stunt their growth and eventually strangle ?

What were the 2 different types of bags? Sand and then cement? And you did not add any gravel at all?

@@MayapanRanch all the bags were the same. Just the normal cement that i get here at the material store. No, I didn’t put in any gravel or sand. Just the bag of cement, level it to your liking and mist with water every hour. I follow a couple on youtube and their channel is called @cajuncountrylivin they have really good info and videos on the Dry Pour method.

Some of the design of inside of the house seems a little disjointed. I personally would have gone full Mayan, or Sante Fe. The modern stuff looks kind of out place.

Very beautiful. Love the theme of the homestead. I may be taking some ideas of you guys on my home build in Mexico. One thing I HIGHLY recommend from past knowledge and experience, is to have the toilets pure white. This is due to checking your output fluids from getting sick or dehydration.

Oh my gosh! Incredible. What a fabulous completed (almost) endeavor. I always told my kids growing up that "if you don't dream big, you'll never have big dreams come true". Congratulations. Also, I so happy to see someone else who dogears the favorite pages in their books. 🙂You have a lot of good rocky ground there around the house. May I suggest throwing out randomly 200 or 300 watermelons sees,, and it will all be green in a month with a feast of melons. (they love rocky soil)

Congratulations on your new home! That was a lot of designing and work to make it flow altogether. It spacious and beautiful. I love the master bathroom and shower and tub. Looks very relaxing. You have an iguana. Maybe you can catch one in the wild outside of your door there. Do you get any snakes or unwanted bugs like cockroaches or even mosquitos? Anyway, enjoy the fruits of your labour. Thank you so much for watching! The dogs love it! The iguana was caught here on the land before the house was started. So he’s about 20 or so months old. Ever since I built him all his caves, I barely get to see him. He loves it.
