Why throw away a large inheritance? Grandpa may not have been there for OP but he wasn't one of those who wronged him either. OP needs to remember the man is 70+. And why not a compromise? OP's kids can bear the family name of Smith - Jones ? Like some noble aristos of UK?

I don't understand why you are Still seeing him as potential partner, if he acts like that during situation that happens Once at month imagine how very NOT helpful he would be if you were pregnant, ,during labor you will have to crawl to the hospital because he would be to annoyed to drive you

I like listening to these short reddit stories but this reel was too slow, as in, slow reading with a gap just about a second more than normal. Got bored.

Leave about him but my question is are you mentally retarded or what? You're not stupid you have zero self respect. The way he speaks to you from the first movement makes me cringe so badly i would have slapped him immediately. I mean so if im tired and my husband woke up crying saying he feels something is wrong with me i should say be a man and shut you're mouth or something? If you have behave with him then he wont be apologizing but infact dumbed you like a trash yet this is what we are seeing.

There’s no way way people are blaming her for not knowing when her period 💀 some people have fucking abnormal cycle but they don’t seem to have enough brain cells to think about it the fact everyone is different.

I honestly get both POV this is because he doesn’t understand what’s happening and might be annoyed and always having to help her but her hormones are acting up is making her react like this and she is also going to immense pain because of the menstrual cycle

He literally said “if I had known” she didn’t even know she was miscarrying even so why was that his reaction to his girlfriend in pain. He yelled about his sheets being stained with blood that’s the breaking point. Girl he doesn’t love you like he says he does. The moment something happens that annoys him he’s going back to what he did the day of the miscarriage…

Really, I feel like it should be taken as "okay, we're broken up then" the moment you find out someone blocked you on their phone and social media. Because he wanted her to do exactly what she did, work and grovel for his forgiveness when she didn't actually do anything wrong. Even if it was just a heavy period instead of a miscarriage, you can't help it if you start bleeding. You can't help if you're in pain. That's like being mad at someone for having a kidney stone or a nose bleed.

I won't lie, the person at fault is the op for being so fucking stupid. The boyfriend is a fucking piece of shit and found a really stupid person which is why they haven't broken up yet. If they have kids, they both will be at fault.

She needs to realize that he will NEVER change, that is what he actually thinks and feels and those kinds of people belong in the trashcan. She sounds like a victim of abuse, she tries to justify her boyfriends actions and act as she is going to confront him in some way but still ends up being the one apologizing and never really resolve anything...is she still alive btw? These cases never ends up happy...

Yeah I feel bad for saying it since she was clearly hearbroken by her miscarriage, but it's probably lucky that she didn't end up having his baby. Because I doubt he'd treat a child better. Especially if it was a girl. Would he yell at her when she's older if she has difficult or heavy periods? His twin sister even said that he did similar things to her since they were kids, so this is how he's grown up learning it's okay to treat the people in his life.

Okay the fact that she talked about getting comments like "how did you not know you were going to be on your period, you're old enough to know better" really pissed me off! Not all women have predictable cycles! Especially if you have something like PCOS, that comes with unpredictable periods AND very heavy bleeding. Not to mention it turns out she was pregnant, so of course had no way of knowing she'd start bleeding from a miscarriage! However, even if she hadn't been miscarrying, you can't help when you start freaking bleeding.

Bro I was literally about to comment the same. Not only that there is alot that can make a cycle unpredictable. And that's not even the point?? Like the way he treated her was absolutely horrendous, but "oh wahhh she didn't pay attention to when her period was going to come( she still did)"

This. But also the way he treated he in general is not okay. If she is in pain, it doesn’t matter the reason, your partner should try to help and take care of you. Not verbally abuse you for something you can’t control.

No one needs mental and verbal and emotional abuse. How are women so desensitized to that crap? Abuse escalates, it usually starts with emotional abuse and it slips under the radar.
