Interesting fact; Glenn Danzig co-wrote “call me” with Alvin between Samhain and Danzig.

Theodore’s drumming is really underrated on this album. Its a shame that in the later years, especially after Alvin’s death, Dave chose to use a drum machine instead.

I heard rumor that Alvin partied with Kurt Cobain and Layne Staley after the former’s notorious Rio de Janeiro show in 1993. What I wouldn’t give to be a fly on the wall for that.

Yknow at the end of the day they were young when dave discoverd them. We dont know much of what went on behind the scenes, but im sure it wasnt a good enviorment for the chipmunks. I can see why alvin turned to drugs and i wish someone had cared enough to intervene. We may say we do or did, but we didnt. We kept listening and enouraging this unheathly life they had been coursed into.

The climax of the evening came when Theodore, in a moment of madness or genius, hooked his bass up to a series of effects pedals that didn't just alter the sound but seemed to warp the space around him. The audience watched in awe as spectral hands appeared, plucking the strings alongside him, creating a chorus of otherworldly overtones. The gig ended with Theodore smashing his bass into an amplifier, which didn't shatter but instead swallowed the instrument whole, leaving behind a pulsating black hole on stage. The crowd erupted into cheers, not sure if they had witnessed a breakdown or a breakthrough. From that day on, Theodore was known as the Bassist de Cósmico, a title he wore with pride. His performances became legendary, each one more unpredictable than the last. Some say he's still out there, tuning his bass to the dark matter that binds the stars, forever searching for the ultimate riff that will unravel the mysteries of the universe.

I met Theodore once in the lobby of some hotel in Chatanooga, I didn’t want to say anything in an effort to not seem like a pest but before I knew it we were in an elevator together, He looked like he just got through a long night, But I mustered up the courage to ask for an autograph, he was alot nicer than I was expecting, but I could tell he was mentally drained, after learning about the kind of things the band did during there peak I knew that he didn’t want to live that life anymore, I heard he’s now a Pastor down south and him and Simon got together for a small reunion show in a park in Denver a few months back. After what happened with Alvin those years ago I can see that what happened to him changed Theodore and opened his eyes to the mistakes he made in his youth
